Reason # 837 why the Cowboys organization is inept and incapable of winning a playoff game.

He loaded up his Lincoln Navigator, but then realized he didn't have the keys. In one last moment of indignity, Phillips walked around the tunnel asking if anyone had his keys.

ESPN's The Sports Guy comments on Keygate.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/080118
Reader: Not only can Wade Phillips not help a football team win, he CANNOT FIND HIS KEYS!!! And Jerry Jones is adamant about keeping him next year?
Sports Guy: "Any time there's a published story about a head coach trying to leave a locker room after a season-ending playoff game and being unable to find his car keys, you have to wager against this coach in the playoffs for the rest of eternity."

Wade should have Bobby Carpenter hold his keys. Other than on Special Teams plays, he's not doing anything.;)

The keys were found in the garbage, ... with Dallas' playoff performance.

But you're 30 years old! You mean to tell me you have never misplaced them EVER? I always keep mine in the same pocket and put them in the same place when I get home, or try to at least. But they get misplaced at least once every 3-6 months.

"Well, we didn't score as many points certainly," he said. "That's what it comes down to. We didn't get turnovers to help score points. We didn't help get the field position that would help us to score points, so it's all team-related."
sounds a little like madden....
