I havent heard a thing from tiki since the post season started. Maybe it's because the coach and QB he threw under the bus are having playoff success without him???
I'm sure he would like to speak, but his foot must be stuck in his mouth :laugh::laugh:

And $50 says that if the Giants lose this weekend the stadium won't be empty before he's talking again

No bets here. I don't think he'd wait for the first Cheesehead to take one of those stupid cheese hats off.

it's funny how much they missed him retiring a year ago, and now they could care less about him, Giants fans i mean. I'm not complaining one bit, he was a whiny prima-donna and should learn when to shut up.

It sure would be silly for him to continue criticizing Manning and Coughlin after they've begun succeeding. I can't imagine why this is surprising.

He never really criticized the team that badly. Everybody just blew what he said out of proportion.

Actually, I said from day one that everyone was making a bigger deal about Tiki leaving then they should.
I knew the Giants running game would be fine without Tiki, and when I used to be a member of the Eagles MB last season, everyone there predicted the Giants to 4-12, last in the division, blah blah blah.
The Giants started the season with 5 very capable RB's.
Brandon Jacobs
Derrick Ward
Ryan Grant
Ahmad Bradshaw
Ruben Droughns
Tyron Biggums

..........Or maybe because of the fact that Tiki was calling it like he saw it and Eli and coach Coughlin have recently adjusted.
Eli kept throwing off his back foot and Coughlin wanted to put the game in his hands as opposed to putting it in the teams hands.
They run the ball more now and overall the team stepped up.
Why would Tiki need to say anything??? He was right and now the Giants are playing like he was criticizing them of not playing. No big deal. :)

Kinda crazy how he retires and the Giants are in the NFC championship, does anyone think if he was still playing this year they would be even better and beat the Packers to go the superbowl and give the Pats a run for there money.

No no, that is Jacobs on a diet. :D You just can't see that that is a 7 and not a 1.

Eli's lucky Tiki isn't talking about his proclivity for taking 15 yard sacks.

you might have missed the part where Tiki's ego was a huge deal within the giants lockerroom. Most of his former team mates were annoyed with his comments, and were not so sad to see him leave.
Also, Jacobs, Ward and Bradshaw have played much better then anyone expected (save for giants fans, of course :D)
He was easily replaced this year, the giants did not skip a beat, and now they are winning without him.
Maybe they feel they are more of a team now, with him gone.
Either way, It feels good to have him eat his words. It was so low class for him to throe everyone under the bus, and never shut up.
** side note ** Does anyone actually feel he offers anything of substance on Sunday night football? He is useless IMO

Please tell me how Tiki was lying about the way Eli was playing and not leading in the huddle. Tiki was telling us how it was when he was there Why would he lie about something that people saw with their own eyes??? He threw Coughling under the bus because he wanted Tiki to win games by himself. He ran the man into retirement. Could you blame him????
I didn't hear of anybody being annoyed of his comments other than Eli and Coughlin somewhat) but even Strahan felt that Eli needed to be more vocal and take charge and that coaching needed to be more team oriented.
As I said before, they play as a team now. Its not just about one player, as it were when Tiki was doing most it by himself.
Tiki said something that many teammates wanted to say but didn't.

coughlin drove tiki into retirement? Coughlin got the best out of tiki and made him the player he was before retiring. without coughlin Tiki would still be that small RB fumbler.
You also fail to talk about the part where players in the dressing room were happy he was gone because they felt he was always a distraction.
Yeah Tiki may have been right in what he said, but that doesnt mean he should have said it, or even said it on multiple occasions

He ran Tiki to the ground with 357 rush attempts and 327 the following year. Thats crazy for a RB weighing 205.
Thats what Tikis excuse for the abrupt retirement was.
His retirement announcement was a distraction for the team and players questioned his timing. That's what pissed players off. He wasn't a locker room poison, just a timing thing.
He is a commentator now and that's his job. Eli and Coughlin are grown men and INMO they can handle what is thrown at then. Its fans that keep throwing wood on the fire. ;)
You say he brought out the best in Tiki which is subjective, but the facts are, he brought out the worst in Tiki and he retired.
