Does anyone think he regrets retiring now? I know that he has come out in the media and stated that he is not jealous of the Giants' recent success and even said they are capable of going to the Super Bowl. I just find it hard to believe that he isn't thinking right now that he could be there, lifting that trophy, and playing in Arizona for the biggest prize in football.

I hate Tiki Barber and Shockey they cry and cry all the time. Now their team is doing better without them. I'm not saying that they aren't good players I just don't think they are good teammates and leaders.

Tiki retiring and Shockey being out allowed Eli to finally take over the huddle and lead the team without being second guessed by two vocal,veteran players.

IMO, that gave Eli alot of confidence and it showed this postseason. :2cents:
