I hope Todd Bowles leaves to the Phins. I don't like the idea of any of our former players being employed by Dallass.

Mr. Fix-it takes another hit...These guys did a good job for Dallas, funny how Jerrah didn't extend them.

Why is it all these guys get praise when it looks like they'll leave Dallas? Sparano and Ireland got no respect till Parcells got hired in MIA and now it's the end of the world cause they're gone.
Of the 3, I'd be upset if Rodgers left. I think he's done a good job with the DL. Pasqualoni I'm iffy on. I think the OLBs have been great, but the ILB have been averege. As far as Bowles please tell me how he's done a good job? I don't think it's his fault that we struggle in the secondary, but I don't think this unit over achieved by any stretch of the imagination.
Bowles was rumored to be a candidate for D-coordinator for the phins, I hope he gets it.

He had to work with Jacques freaking Reeves and was stuck with Roy Williams at S.

So good in fact that a first round pick can't crack the starting lineup because the two in front of him are superior talents.:)

Bowles coaches for Dallas? I never knew who he was, I admit but I recall cheering for him in Super Bowl XXII earlier today.

Theyre all pretty good coaches, but they can be replaced.
While I'd like to retain them for continuity purposes, a shakeup may be in order at this point.
We've retained the most important assistant, so that helps a great deal to keep the offense rolling.
The defense however, may need a kick in the fanny.

Um, wait. Wasn't that why Mr. Fix-It was hired? Don't you remember, all of the pieces were in place on offense...it was the defense Mr. Fix-It was hired for to address...
Please, HHM, stop the spinning....I'm getting dizzy.
Oh, and who are you going to throw under the bus next?

T-New and Henry missed games never over lapped so that helped and Reeves only played okay. It's not like he played lights out and this has probably been one of RW worst seasons

Who used the words great? Bradie James has been slightly above averege and Akin has been averege.

The starting CB's missed 6 games and played hurt most if not all the remainder of the season and their main backup was Reeves who is not impressive.
I have news for you, Williams played the dame as he always has. To label this the worst isn't saying much, he has been exposed.
All this and your defensive backfield held up. Good coaching can do that with limited talent.:2cents:

How much do you watch RW. I've always felt, like with most SS, Williams wasn't good in coverege (not as bad as some people think, but admittadly worse than most cowboys fans admit to), but made up for it with forcing turnovers and other big plays
2002- 5 ints, 3 FF, 2 sacks
2003- 2 ints, 2 FF, 2 sacks
2004- 2 ints, 1 FF, 0 sacks
2005- 3 ints, 3 FF, 3 sacks
2006- 5 ints, 0 FF, 0 sacks
2007- 2 ints, 0 FF, 0 sacks
While stats don't tell the whole story, they only year comparable is 2004, which was probably his worst year in coverege.
And still I stand by my original statement, Rogers is the only one I'd want back (of the 3 coaches whose contract expires).

While stats don't tell the whole story, they only year comparable is 2004, which was probably his worst year in coverege. If you are going to throw stats around I noticed tackles were conveniently left out. I added them for you.
You also left out the fact that he missed a game for the first time in his career which affected his numbers. Funny I don't remember him being injured.
Oh yeah, the NFL finally caught with his horse collaring crap which means his tackle total was probably down some this year.
You also forgot to mention the Cowboys played him closer to the line in certain situations and even took him out occasionally due to the offensive coordinators exposing his coverage weakness.
If you're trying to prove to yourself that he once was good, then good luck.
