Please, please, please let this go through...Parcells will look like a genius, because, while the rookie running back (McFadden) is a 'can't miss hit' like..., um, Reggie Bush, the pukes are neglecting that pathetic defensive backfield that will continue to hemmorhage points...

The pukes need WRs, a Safety, RB, and OL. If Ferguson doesn't come back strong, they're in deep trouble on the DL (Tank was the quietest addition I've seen to a team in a long time...possible flop in the making, there.)

It's so sweet seeing Jerruh in command. No more Ireland or Parcells to temper him. Go, Jerruh, go! Keep re-signing these chokers to long term contracts...and please, keep spending.

Awesome!

Per Mort, any such deal would have to include the rights to Cowboys running back Marion Barber, who is slated to be a restricted free agent. To make it happen, the Cowboys would have to work out a sign-and-trade deal before Barber gets a chance to ink an offer sheet that would force the Cowboys to match the terms or let him go in exchange for compensation...

... And it's clear that the Cowboys are going to have to find a way to enhance the two first-rounders that they can offer up for the No. 1 pick. Under the revised draft order, the Cowboys pick at No. 22 (from Cleveland) and at No. 28. Under the trade chart, the No. 22 overall pick is worth 780 points and the No. 28 selection is worth 660 points. The No. 1 selection has a value of 3,000 points; thus, the Cowboys would be a whopping 1,560 points short.

Though the trade chart arguably needs to be adjusted to reflect the fact that the enormous financial investment that is now required when using the top pick makes the prospects of a move up even more fraught with risk, the Fins could justify the 1,560-point gap by placing that value on Barber, who coupled with Ronnie Brown could give Miami a deadly one-two punch in the backfield.

Actually I think this would be a good idea for the Cow boys. Jones isn't a great back, but they have had him starting, and Barbour is a guy who I think is one injury away from being average. Dallas has been nothing since they let Emitt Smith Walk to Arizona. Like it or not, but that's the truth :D Without an elite back like Emit the flaws of Tony Romo will be magnified as he is called on to win ball games.

Rumor has it Javon Walker could be coming to Dallas.

Same deal with Drayton Florence.

If we were to get those guys or a WR like Berrian I Am all for getting Dmac.

If not, no thanks.

Jerry may be trigger-happy, but he AIN'T this stupid.

This trade ain't happening...the pundits in the media obviously have nothing else better to do.

Jerruh is in love with DMC just because they are from the same alma matter and he will fill up cowboy stadium.

I like the rumors because they involve getting Marion Barber out of the NFC East.

The Cowboys were a one hit wonder this year. Next year they will suck.

Newman is still suffering from the concussion that Betts gave him back in 05'. That is where he gets his rumors from...

That just seems like a waste of having two first round picks.

Not sure why they'd want to mortgage their draft for McFadden. I think Barber is one of the best backs in the league, unfortunately.

Once again, it's funny that whenever the Cowboys are successful with something, Jerry Jones never gets any credit.

It's even funnier that a Redskins fan would even dare criticize Jerry Jones right now given the Snyder debacle. :2cents:

Please, it's easy to criticize Jerruh regardless of the circumstances...twelve years without a playoff game...which part does he get the credit for?

I believe he deserves some credit for a 13-3 season. I also think he is a much better owner who makes much better GM decisions than he did 10-12 years ago. The Cowboys have good, young talent on the roster, are in great salary cap shape, and despite the Parcells raiding, we are in good shape on our coaching staff.

Like I said, whatever criticism you can come with in that jello brain of yours, it will surely be better than what the Redskins are facing right now.

Says who ? Wade phillips is soft. We dont know who our head coach is yet but you can bet he will be better than wade who is 0-4 in postseason wins...

Oh yes, that's why you have half of the ES ready to jump off a ledge over the potential hiring of Fassal.

Seriously, until Snyder's debacle this offseason, I actually thought the Redskins were heading in the right direction and were going to be a championship contender next year. I don't see it right now. Firing GW was a huge mistake.

Why would JJ get credit for 13-3? Parcells built that team. If it was up to JJ you'd have Drew Henson at QB right about now.

Good young talent ? You sure about that ? Almost all your stars are past their best and the ones that are just producing it looks like you may be flushing ...
