I can't overstate how happy I am with the way this team is playing and the difference between this iteration of the Wiz and previous years. The team of the 3 prior years does not win that overtime game against the Raptors. They are better defensively and just plain tougher. Jamison's leadership along with Butler's now define this team. The thing is, they can still get better.

I'm with you on that. I'm not one of these folks who think we don't need Gilbert. We need him plenty. The firepower he provides is a major headache for opponents and will make everyone's job easier. Certainly he has some adjustments to make but nothing he can't do if he wants to. How easy will life be for Caron and Jamison when Arenas is at full strength. If they continue to share the ball they will be devastating. The defensive team that is quick enough to handle these three when the Wiz are moving the ball and getting assists does not exist.

Give me a break. If you want to talk about hockey go to the hockey section. And I didn't say anything bad about the Caps. I just made the point that I, like most people, don't care about them. Now if I was in the hockey section saying something you would have a point.

We would have got raped anyway. Better to rest the men then wear them out even more before Friday's huge game with a very good Utah squad.

They are playing better defense and sharing the ball more. Darius is a role player coming off the bench and Pech just needs time.

Blatche needed some time and now it's beginning to pay dividends. Songalia is not panning out like they probably wanted, but he can spell the big men and let them rest. That my friends, will be helpful in the future.

I don't get to watch as many games since I moved, but still try to follow the team when I can. But from what I can see, they are much more balanced than in years past.

we have a good team and yeah, last night was pretty ugly. but i mean, i didn't expect us to win the one at home VS the Raptors when i heard Caron was out. So for us to muscle up the way we did and makeup for the OT loss at Milwaukee, by beating the Raps in OT....that was awesome. You aren't gonna win them all, and going north of the border is tiresome after already sticking it to the same team the night before. We have big games coming up against Utah and the Lakers.....we're gonna need to win some of these tough games to stay afloat.

and of course, the Magic killed the Heat last night. F*ck the Magic and the Heat. I hate both of them so much.

I'll try to refrain from posting the EXAULTED WIZARDS and their 24-20 record in this forum with anything hockey. Didn't know it was a rule to not talk about other sports in a particular section. Anyway, that was an U-G-L-Y loss last night. Without Caron, the team looks lost, even thought we beat them a night ago. I didn't see the game. Did the players look tired?
