I really miss this forum and talking smack with a bunch of the people here. I remember how much fun the prior seasons were and I really miss the game threads. Work has taken over my time to watch the Wizards...simply put, as a real estate agent, I'm usually working when others aren't. I haven't watched a Wizards game this year :(

It hasn't been that good around here this season, thats why me and alot of other people from here have gone to Wizardsextreme, and post in the game threads there..Just not too much going on here anymore, and its a shame..I remember all the regulars who I use to post in the game threads with and try to calm them down after we lost lol, and 1 of them were you.:laugh: ;)

Its waaaay too negative here. I like Wizardsextreme quite a bit. So much more knowledge shared over there too... its nice. And people are actually optimistic, its a refreshing change.

exactly, it seems literally everyone here is extremely negative. Whereas on WE, people actually seem root for the wizards.

Thats the EJ system taking effect this season yet again. Playing starters massive amounts of minutes to just eek out wins and as the season progresses, they break down. Happens every year. around the midway point into the second half of the season.

EJ basically refuses to play his bench.. (unless his starters are injured, then he'll play the most worthless of the bench players the most minutes, hindering the progress of the rookies)

This team is more than a new coach away from being VERY GOOD. We need more athletes....more Caron Butler types that can do multiple things on the floor...Philly has Young, Carney and Iguodala...those guys are atheletes. We need some guards with quickness on D ...Daniels/Mason just flat out look slow every night out there....most importantly a presence on DEFENSE in the post atleast. Perhaps not a post scorer but someone that can guard a 4 or 5 in this league consistently.

I'm not sure how good a HEALTHY Butler, Arenas and Jamison Wizards squad would be but we need to upgrade the guys around them.

I want to see McGuire & Young in there more often...i'm sick of the same old same old

We are definitely looking tired and thats the reason for so many injuries. AJ broke down a few years ago with this system after starting a large number of games in a row. Caron is young, but due to all the minutes every year his body is starting to give. In previous years, Gil always looked extremely tired at the midway point and we would barely cruise into the playoffs. It seems like we are so tired that we sneak into the playoffs. And I like the point of us needing more athletes, but we can't pretend like philly is a good team, they are scrubs.

As far as negativity goes, I really can't believe that. I must be watching different games. We do have a good group of core players and role players, but we have to make changes to win. I like the growth of blatche and haywood, but even though haywood has improved he's not scaring anyone. I still act surprised when he simply makes a good play.

Yeah, it's looking like it's going to get worse before it gets better. I just hope we can finish with Gil and Caron both being a 100% so that we MIGHT have a chance to make some noise in the playoffs....if we even make them at this point.

We're obviously not a bad team. We definitley have good players. But we're tired and we're hurt right now. Something's gotta change for us if we want to get to the playoffs and actually DO something while we're there.

I just want Caron to sit out a good 2 weeks or so...let Gil sit until mid March at the earliest.

Realistically it doesnt look like we will catch the Magic so lets try to finish the season strong & healthy and gear toward the playoffs. If we can just manage to finish in the top 6 spots in the East then we will avoid playing Detroit or Boston in the first round.

If we end playing our 1st round series with Toronto, Orlando or Cleveland I would take our chances if we are 100% healthy regardless if we have home court advantage or not.

Yeah i agree....i don't really think it matters where we end up seeding wise, as long as Caron and Gil are at 100% come playoff time.

If we have all our guys out there and healthy at the same time, we could give just about anyone in the East a run for their money.....like we were doing last year at this time.
