Am I the only Skins fan who hates the Giants. Everyone last night seemed to be rooting for them. Come on! I can never root for the Giants except against the Cowboys.I hate them with a passion from Eli, right on down. It seems like all Skins fans like the Giants, have they not forgotten they're a bitter rival. I hate them far more than the Eagles

It was disturbing seeing alot of people on here root for the G'ints.

I mean I know the Pats are hatable, but damn not so bad that you would want a divisonal rival to win the Super Bowl.

Let me get this straight: I rooted for the Giants because I respected how they marched through the playoffs and wanted the Pats knocked off their high horses. They thought they were better than everyone else, and the Giants did us a favor and knocked them down to the same level as 30 other NFL teams.

I'm tired of these threads, lets just be classy about this the giants played a good game and won, there is no reason to be bitter about it. I'm just happy that the media will finally shut up about the cheatriots, but then again it still seems as if they're getting more attention for choking than the giants are for winning the damn thing.

Pretty much same for me, only reversing #4 and #5.

As I slowly begin to accept what happened and appreciate the game for what it was (exciting, nailbiting and historic in a different way than most of us expected), I will eventually come around to giving the Giants their due.

My biggest problem right now is that this a dangerous Giants team has evolved into a team that could be a thorn in our sides for years. Saying that, I'm hoping the success will quickly go to their head and they'll implode very soon.

I feel the same way except I'll on gameday I hate the giants, the last game I went to in which the skins won was against the giants, and I don't even know how many expletives I directed towards them. The only player I really have a problem with is AP but then again he's only directed his hatred towards the FO in which most fans of the skins do on a daily basis so I really can't hate him that much for that. Then again AP just needs to get over it.

I don't like the Giants, but yes I was cheering for the Giants. The Giants have in my opinion some of the classiest fans in the league, maybe even 2nd only to the Redskins. Now because they're in the same division as the Redskins, I'll normally always cheer on another team against them, except against New England in the Superbowl. Had little to do with what the Giants did as much as the fact the Patriots cheated and were caught.

Next season if the Patriots can do it again, this time with absolutely no cheating, and they face the Giants with the NE being 18-0, I'll hope Perfectville will have a population of 2 after the game.

2) Eagles (Fans)
3) Ravens (You would too if you went to Towson University or were a Skins fan living in the Baltimore area at some point)
4) Giants (Only because of division rivalry...Don't really HATE them so much as I like them...Definitely better fans than #'s 1, 2, and 3)

My hate for the Patriots was bigger than my hate for the Giants. It was very satisfying to see Brady get knocked on his ars all night after watching him snub Eli and laugh at Plaxico's prediction that they would only score 17 points. It was even more satisfying watching the Giants win after Belicheck's arogant call of going for it on 4th and 13 instead of kicking a fieldgoal. I can't stand the Patriots. The only team I can't stand more is the Cowboys.

People with opinions like the OP's need to calm down. The situation was simple. OUR favorite team DID NOT make the big game. If you're a football fan, you want to watch the game and enjoy, so you pick someone to root for. OF COURSE, you choose the underdog. Rooting for the undefeated 12 point favorite is TOO easy. Chill the **** out.
