Not much has been said about Russ Grimm in the media as a contender for the Skins coaching job - in fact, nothing has been said. There have been no published reports whatsoever. But would somebody please tell me how Russ Grimm is not the PERFECT candidate for the job and far better than any of the other candidates out there?
I challenge anyone to prove how Grimm isn't better than Mooch, Fassel or Meeks. If you wanted a truly mediocre coach or one with a track record of failure (Mooch and Fassel), then Gregg Williams would have fit the mold; I'd takes Meeks over the other two simply because at least Meeks has a good track record. But Grimm, how could you overlook the Hog?
Keep the coaching job in the Redskins family - Dan Snyder please hire Russ Grimm! When he takes the 'Skins to the Super Bowl, then there's no doubt he'll be a hall of famer (in the eyes of skins fans, he already is).
