Concord Regional's runway is long enough to accomodate a small jet like Snyder has.... If fact, I think this is where Snyder flew into four years ago when he first got Joe to come back.... Granted, he may have another jet by now, but Concord Regional extended their runway to allow larger planes to take off and land there....

And speaking of cribs, here's a pic of Joe's estate at the Peninsula on Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. Not too shabby!!!

Though not quite true (take 64 to 49 and you're downtown Charlotte in 3.5 hours, 3 if you're trying), there's certainly no reason Redskins 1 wouldn't finish the trip in the air.

We're recruiting Tom O'Brien of NC State or Butch Davis of UNC; that's gotta be it!

I don't know about O'Brien, but Butch Davis might just fit the bill, he has previous professional coaching experience, and would have a lot more support from Snyder then he had in Cleveland. I mentioned him a while back, but the name never got traction.

However, I have to say the thought that Snyder is FLYING his jet all over the place to mess with us is just plain silly. Do you know what the cost of Jet Fuel is now? Unless he's chartering it out for someone else to use, there is no point in trying to do that.

[QUOTE=markmx]So if you can afford a private jet to fly into any airport you would land a couple hours away from where you wont to be? Sorry now it makes since.[/

Of course that would probably be the normal procedure. But who KNOWS why he would be at RDU airport, dude! Quite frankly, I don't even believe it happened in the first place, that someone saw Redskins One there. Besides all that, I was just reacting to when you said RDU is nowhere close to Charlotte. As of 2 hours is such a long way away. Anyway, lighten up Francis. You have your panties in a wad over nothing.

I live in raleigh, its far enough....especially since charlotte has its own airport

Interesting info JKC.

So, here's another little crazy theory to float out there....

Maybe they're sitting down with Cowher to work out a deal for next year. And this year, Buges will be the "interim" coach.

I could see The Danny doing something like that. And Buges is so loyal, I'm sure he'd do it. Besides, I don't think he's looking to be a long term HC any more.

(Remember, I said it was a crazy theory!)

Hail,
