A). That's the moment we turned the corner on the road back to respectability

or

B). That was the moment that started us down the path to 5 years of inconsistent play.

C). Optional - you fill in the blank.

More like, next year we'll all be saying: "They can fire Zorn, but with Vinny and Dan still running the show, nothing will change."

C. That was the guy we hired for one year before Cowher took over.

My guess is that B won't happen. Two years of inconsistent play and Zorny would be gone.

D. I'm really glad Sam Huff leaned over and strangled Larry Michael on the air. LOL.

I think the players are going to love him. He is organized and will put them in positions to win. I think in 5 years we will say that was a gamble that really payed off. I also think in the next two seasons Olividotti will be defensive coordinator. He would have worked under Williams and Blache enough to get a good feel on calling a defense.

A would be totally lucky.

Most likely B.

Oh PLEASE!!! You guys go ahead and get Cowher! Fire Zorn, and that will free him up to come back to the Seahawks as the OC.

Based on past history, you don't think this is the most likely scenario? Although, Zorn would probably sit out a year and continue to collect from Dan.

How about this one:

D) Coach Zorn will be fired after 1 season because a big named college coach that is Mr. Snyders’s “Dream Coach” will decide to leave college to see how his game will work in the Pros.

Oh wait, we have already seen that story. :silly:

C). It's too bad Danny didn't give Zorn more time. Two years wasn't enough, especially since Skins players finally started learning his system towards the end of 2009, a 9-7 season. Apparently 2008, a 4-12 season for the Skins, left such a bad taste in Danny's mouth that he already had made up his mind to make wholesale changes again in the offseason preceding the 2010 season, culminating in the hiring of <name the next Redskins coaching experiment here>.

As long as Danny is running the team, we will see this endless cycle of changes every two years, with its associated lack of continuity, prevent any meaningful, consistent success. With all the money in the world, Snyder and his management team have compiled a losing record after nine years and a grand total of two playoff wins. His tenth year, with a complete change of offensive schemes, will continue that trend. That's the inescapable truth that he can't hide from.

I fully expect that Zorn will have enough success to make the hiring of another coach a discarded idea, no matter how big the name.

But if it works out the way you said, I'll be absolutely thrilled to see Zorn back in Seahawk blue.
