I'm thinking that at least 2 names will be on the Skins shortlist. WR DJ Hackett and OG Floyd Womack....thoughts?

Please lets not turn this into the RedHawks.. we tried the Jetskins and we saw how that turned out..

Its a possibility. Jim Zorn would have first hand knowledge of most if not all of the Seahawk players.

I do believe DJ Hackett will become a Redskin.

I kind of like SS Jordan Babineaux also.

Womack has only been a part-time starter and is mainly a backup, so I'm not so sure about him.

I second Babineaux. He's a heck of a player.

LOL

But seriously, this is what happens when coaches come from other teams. They bring in personell who know their the system. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Zorn brings in a few free agents from Seattle.

I have no problem with him bringing in established NFL players from Seattle that he's familiar with. It's alot better than when coach ******* brought in a bunch of ****ty Gators.

Hackett would be a good move for the price, imo and Babineaux is intersting as well. Womack I would stay away from.

Babineaux is a limited safety please don't start a bandwagon on this site that makes our incompentent FO chase him. Just do alittle research on him.

They have 1 golden ticket in Seattle and thats Marcus Trufant but that is were he grewup and will be hard to sign him away.

Hackett has been a decent Wr when healthy but we have enough problems already keeping who we got healthy. Hackett also is the king of pushing off cornerbacks to get seperation.

Womacks nickname is porkchop enough said.

Let's just restructure who we can and hope not to have to cut anyone before we start spending cap that we don't have.

Randy Thomas has been amazing. John Hall was solid until he started getting hurt, and Moss has been awesome.

My thoughts exactly. Babineaux would end up a reserve player and Womack well, lets just say we don't need any more aging Vets on th Oline. Its time to address the Oline in the draft. Hackett is decent if he can stay healthy. Trufant has become a beast, I'd prefer him to Asante Samuel truthfully. I don't think he'll command as large of a contract as Samuel. The WR I'd like to see us target is Bryant Johnson he's 6'3 215 has good speed and real good hands. He has alot of talent, but has been overshadowed by two great receivers in Fitzgerald and Bolden, but still puts up decent numbers every year. Plus he won't kill us with a huge cap hit.

I really don't think we need any of those Seahawks. I'm not a big Hackett fan. Babineaux isn't a priority. Trufant will be franchised and Womack isn't the direction we need to head in. All of these areas can be addressed via the draft and will be cheaper and younger that way.

I know that the Seahawks Fans are upset with Shaun Alexander after he signed for all that money and has not performed.

Hey that would be a Daniel Snyder type of player, big named and past his prime like in 2000.

Trufant will be franchised.

I dont think so man. Apparantly they are putting the franchise tag on Josh Brown and letting Trufant test the market.

You are misunderstanding Zorn's role in Seattle....

He was the QUARTERBACKS COACH in Seattle people...he didn't have a "system;" they were not running his offense.

I'm sure he will be taking a lot from what they were doing there but to assume we will be running the Seahawks offense because he is was the QB coach is off base.

Nobody knows his system....I just hope he does.

I agree completely, he is gonna have his own system. He knows how good Hackett is and if he wants him or not. As for the others...WHY...we need to keep who we have and draft...

Free agency a WR or DL

Thats it

but still would be better to just draft

A well-placed pass to "B" is a touchdown. Or hit "A" and hope "B" can get a good block in on the FS. Go RedHawks! :p

Hacket is not good enough. the Redskins need a bigger #1 WR. On a real good team Moss would be a #2 and ARE a #3...the redskins need a #1 WR with size. Hacket is no better the what we already have...
