My friend has a new Skins blog called The Internet is for Zorn (http://www.internetisforzorn.com/), its actually been mentioned by a few sports writers in the past week. Can you feel it? The nervous tension, wondering what gifts you’re going to find in the transaction lines of Friday’s paper? That feeling that you want to fall asleep so you can wake up quicker, but the promise of Asante Samuels and D.J. Hackett is so overwhelming that you just can’t steady your breathing? We all know that feeling. So go down to the kitchen, make yourself a soothing cup of tea or egg nog or straight whiskey, and enjoy this poem in the spirit of the season.
It’s the night before Friday and all through DC,
we all check Insider (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/), we all watch TV.
Agents watch Blackberries across the country,
“Daniel Snyder”’s the name they’re hoping to see.
Free agents are nestled all snug in their beds
ostentatious displays of wealth in their heads.
