Imagine if Snyder didn't trade away soo many picks? When we have the picks, we draft major talent. With Cooley,Taylor,Landry,Rocky,JC,Betts, and even HB Blades will blossom as a starter soon enough. A lot of criticism goes to our management for many reasons, but outside of the Spurrier Era we have been solid for finding talent in the draft( with the rare picks we had). Now with Cerrato and Snyder becoming more careful with draft picks and possibly no salary cap in 2011, The Redskins could become a force in the near future.....

I think that we have picked good talent because we pick best available rather than need.

I thought you were going to have a list of players we scouted or something. Does anyone know who we are interested in. I want Rogers Cromartie on this team. The more I find out about him the more excited I get about the draft and the possibility of getting him.

I also like Rogers Cromartie and hopefully he is there at 21 other players that I Would be happy with at 21 are Limas Sweed, Reggie Smith, and James Hardy or possibly Antoine Cason

We've done well with what picks we have had. Let's just hope that we get some winners this year while only missing one draft choice.

I presume you are a Redskins fan, but I think with all the negativity we have on this board from time to time, you are guilty of a Freudian slip here.
Are you really sure "Snyder traded away so many picks?" I mean its my understanding since I have followed the Redskins, that most of the time the head coach gave the o.k. to acquire players in a trade.
Even Joe Gibbs always preferred a proven vet over an untested rookie draftee. So when the Redskins made the good Coles-for-Moss trade, and the not-so-good T.J. Duckett, Brandon Lloyd, and other trades, how can you say that "Snyder traded away our draft picks?" It seems like Snyder gets blamed for everything and I know he doesn't evaluate players on film.
I think the head coaches and their assistants (even more than Vinny) are the ones who decided to trade away these picks.

Seems we drafted well whether we were missing some rounds or not but I get your point. I agree with inmate tho, we really can't assume Snyder pushed for trading any picks away.

the issue isn't that we give up draft picks. its that we give up too many, and for players that are not right for our system.
IN summation. Overestimation of certain players and underestimation of the value of our picks.

I'd like to see us take best value for our pick. Whether it is a DB,DE, or WR, i just want the best value at our position. I would rather take the #2 DB instead of the #4 DE or the #4 WR, or vice versa
