DOLPHINS ADD TORBOR, WILFORD, STARKS by Michael David Smith

No team has gotten off to a faster start to the free agency period than the Miami Dolphins, who have added two more players to their defense and one to their offense this afternoon.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel is reporting that the Dolphins have signed free agent linebacker Reggie Torbor, previously of the Giants.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the Dolphins have signed free agent defensive tackle Randy Starks, previously of the Titans.

And the Miami Herald is reporting that the Dolphins have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver Ernest Wilford, previously of the Jaguars.

Bill Parcells, the new boss in Miami, has vowed to remake the Dolphins' roster. And he's not wasting any time.

Three low-rent, but quality contributors.

I wouldve liked Wilford, good move by Parcells.

I wonder how long it'll take for them to get good again

Slowly but surely the Tuna is making the Dolphins into a respectable team once again. Nice move.

All three are very nice moves. Wilford still has some potential into being a very good possession WR. Torber is solid and great for depth. I loved Randy Starks coming out of college and now will have better opportunities to get better.

Hopefully the Dolphins can be a good team this year and the Patriots can stop playing in one of the easiest divisions in football - basically being gauranteed a spot in the playoffs every year. . .

Of course its the bottom of the NFL teams that are dishing out the money in FA. Their teams were bad for a reason(ok, many reason).

I like Randy Starks. I would have like to see him on our team. These were some good moves.

Starks got a 5 year /20 million contract, that was way to much. He had 4 starts last season and the Titans lost all 4 of those games.

But he is young, maybe the Tuna knows more then I.

Looks like another series of smart moves by the Tuna. Solid players, more substance than sizzle and flash.
