Giants middle linebacker Antonio Pierce appeared in Monroe Township Municipal Court today and agreed to pay $1,300 in fines for neglecting a pet pit bull and letting two pit bulls run loose.
However, Pierce left a few fans disappointed when he declined to sign autographs.
Pierce appeared in court with a female companion, and each received the same $1,300 for a Jan. 29 with the two dogs were found running through a resident's yard.
The starting linebacker for the world champion Giants and his companion each received township summons for letting dogs run loose, failing to get dog licenses and failing to get rabies shots.

I'm sure at some point he'll answer questions about the incident. I expect his statement will somehow badmouth the Redskins. The guy can't place an order at a drive-thru window without some comment about the 'Skins.

Not having rabies shots in that area is serious. There was a rabies outbreak there several years ago.

Ya know Im just not a fan of Pierce. I never was. He just runs his mouth too much and he is a prick off the field in my opinion.
Oh well, poor dogs.

That's hilarious, I can actually hear the conversation between AP and a McDonalds Drive Thru guy
"Can I get a Big Mac Meal, a McChicken, and man the Skins are such jerks man. Can't a guy get paid...Whats that? Yeah, I want it supersized!"

Why does it not surprise me that someone as insecure and bitter as AP would own pit bulls?

I can't really excuse him for the dog licenses and rabies shot, but lets not forget that AP was in Pheonix preparing for the superbowl when the dogs actually escaped. He still took responsibility for it and didn't complain about that fact. Which is much more mature than many of today's athlete's behave.

You know he's not rescuing them, he just wanted to "own pits".
