ok, please no hating on me for this....
I love wearing my 'skins clothing, I just can not afford the real deal when it comes to jerseys but I like the way that the "sewn - on" jerseys look. I really thought Reebok was on to something with their "replithentic" jerseys a few years ago.... oh well.... My question....
Aside from specialjersey store mentioned in another thread, where can I look for sewn-on jerseys not at authentic jersey prices? In plain english.... Where can I find fake or knock-off jerseys that are of decent quality?

I was at the Redskins store in Tysons corner last weekend and they had sewn-on jerseys for $89.00. They looked pretty sweet IMO

Find someone who's been stationed in KOREA or has a friend there and ask for help. :D

The knockoffs on eBay are pretty nice but beware of sewn stripes, I hate that.
Purchase carefully.

I got a Sean Taylor 75th Anniversary jersey for $40 with shipping from Korea, off of ebay of course.
It does feel like regular "replica" material, but the name/numbers are sewn on.
Basically, it looks good and doesn't feel any different than all of my official jerseys.
Shipping will take about two weeks, but as long as the reviews overall look good, you don't have much to worry about. I've seen tons of "fakes" on there like Riggins, Monk, to modern players.

I looked at specialjersey.com, they don't take credit cards.

The few jerseys I've gotten from eBay sellers (one for georgiaredskin and a Drew Brees jersey for my cousin) have been decent knock-offs for the price.
They're fakes, but they look pretty good, and if you feel good when you're wearing it that's all that really matters, especially if you're just wearing it at home to watch the game.

Look at the sleeves. They're sewn on. That's proof that the jerseys are not "legit" as in they're not a licensed product.
Look at the stitching. You can see it runs perpendicular to the number edges. That's common on Korean made jerseys. Official NFL licensed jerseys have what they call "tackle twill" stitching which runs in an X like manner across the edge. Again, the perpendicular stitching is proof the jerseys are counterfeit.
I'm not saying they're good or bad, but they're not legit. But for the price, it's up to you whether you think the jersey has value. :2cents:
