Basically we can figure out a rough-and-dirty estimate of what each higher round draftee needs to work on and the coaches can start evaluating the lower round draftees and UDFA's to see who has a shot at making the team and what they need to work on.

This is only the second time I've been excited about mini camp - the other is when Gibbs came back.

I'm curious to see how the players interact with the coaching staff. I'm not looking for a lot other than that really. I know Clinton can run, London can stop the run, Jason can throw and Santana can catch. I'm paying attention to the vibe.

It's a chance for the offense to try to get on the same page in the WCO. The defense will work to defend it. It will also be a chance to see what kind of shape the new meat is in. That's about it. I don't really expect anything else.
