View Full Version : Would you take Erik Bedard back?

I saw a thread elsewhere on this, and thought it'd be a good topic to raise here. The M's have the worst record in MLB, and Bedard pulled himself out of his last start after 100 pitches, telling Mel Stottlemyer that he was "gassed." So, if he's not a Seattle fit, would you take him back as an Oriole?

I say no, unless he changes his ways and becomes more of a team player. That was our big complaint here, was that he was one of the jerks in the locker room and we were looking to win as a team, not with individuals. Plus, team chemistry appears to be much better now that he has since moved on. I guess Bedard doesn't think that "players play, and coaches coach." Thoughts?

I would like to have him back, unless he signs an extension with the team though. Might want to wait until he becomes a free agent. the Mariners would ask for too much.

Actually the one guy I'd love to have back is John Maine for the Mets. I think he'd fit in the lockeroom better than Bedard.

I just can't believe we made that trade. Didn't we get back Kris Benson and some other player for Maine and Julio

I'd take him back, but i wouldn't trade anything seattle would want for him.
