Ok, here is our schedule for the next month after the Astros series:
@ Brewers - 3 games
@ Cubs - 3 games
@ Nats - 3 games
vs. Royals - 4 games
vs. Texas - 3 games
@ Blue Jays - 3 games
@ Red Sox - 3 games
That takes us to the All-Star Break. Following the All-Star Break, the O's have a 12 game homestand including 4 each vs. Tigers and Blue Jays, and 3 vs. the Angels. That homestand ends on July 27th. Realistically, what do all of you expect from now until then?
For me, I'd like to see a 5-4 interleague roadtrip, 5-2 homestand, and a 3-3 roadtrip to lead into the All-Star Break. That would leave us at 50-43 with a 12 game homestand following the break. My question is, suppose we do just that, and have an 8-4 homestand after the break, and are 58-47 after July 27th.
Do you make a run at it this year and make a move, keep the current team and see how well they finish, or do you make rebuilding deals, and trade off people? Or a combination of any 3? Normally, I'm the type to ignore all of this, but I've been sucked in by Orioles Magic and can't suppress the future anymore.

I might have 8 tickets for the game on the 28th @ the Nats 20 rows back from the 3rd base dugout. So far 4 are spoken for but PM me if you might be interested in sitting next to a very vocal Orioles fan and I will keep you posted if things come through on the other tickets...:) all the tickets are in the same row
Paige, my wife says she will out cheer you anyday of the week...

Anyone know when they will continue the suspended game with the White Sox? I thought maybe they would finish the game on Monday seeing how we will be in Chicago to play the Cubs and both teams have an open date. I can't find anything.

Thanks. It was a game in Chicago so I just assumed they would try to end it in Chicago.
Anyone ever notice that when the AL has a rainout, they try to reschedule the game as late in the year as possible (Our game with TB), but the NL somehow tries to get the game in ASAP. Just an observation over the years.

You mean she can't wear that ugly ass flat cap the bucs were wearing in the 70's early 80's?? Or how about those uniforms that looked like a NY Taxi. Awful.

Awful. I saw one of those hats at one of the Pirates games last weekend, with the yellow lines, and that's the worst hat I've ever seen! They have to be a diehard fan to wear those, not to mention this fan had a Willie Stargill jersey too.

Well, we got the sweep on the Astros, so let's go at least 5-4 on this roadtrip.

Nope. That would mean we lose a series. 6-3 sounds better.
