I don't start game threads, but I'm feeling some reverse-lock mojo coming on....so here we go.
Jeremy Guthrie Vs. Sean Marshall 8:05
Marshall is making his first ML start after starting in the pen.
Guthrie gets no run support, so yea...
Burres Vs. Lilly 8:05
Both starters are unbeaten in their last three starts.
Liz Vs. Marquis 2:20
Reverse lock maybe?
The Cubs are 32-8 at home this year.... 32 and ****ing 8. wow.
Hopefully we can sneak out with one or two.
O R I O L E S !

YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! Huge inning, lemme break it down:
Quiroz walks with one out, Roberts doubles. Cintron fails to get the runner in from third(I'm groaning at this point, you know how I hate that). They walk Markakis intentionally. Millar has a great at-bat, coaxing a walk on 6 pitches. He showed the patience of old. Huff then doubles(right on the line) into right field. Huge hit. Two runs score. Then Payton says that we want more, and doubles in Millar and Huff. 5-0 Orioles!

Well I've watched the entire game and we are just pouring it on. Everyone is hitting today. Jones just missed a grand slam(that's the third time this year) but got the sac fly. Payton followed with a RBI single. Then so did Quiroz. 11-0 Orioles after 6.
The best thing about today is Liz. He showed composure in the 2nd getting out of a bases loaded 1 out jam. He's showed good control(although he just walked Cedeno on 4 pitches) and a real nice changeup. He struck out Lee earlier on that pitch. Basically everything is working. Being able to smash the Cubs and take 2/3(barring a major comeback by the Cubs) is a huge statement.
Liz is gassed after walking the first two batters to start the sixth. Burres coming in. Good game for him though. :applause: Let's not make this interesting Brian.

This series was tailor made for the Orioles to beat the Cubs. It set up nicely for them, and they took advantage. I was impressed with some of the O's younger guys, and 2 of their starters. Who knows, it's a long season maybe they can turn it around. If there is enough time for the Cubs to choke, then there is enough time for the O's to make things interesting in their division.
Fun series O's fans. Good luck in your next series.

^Thanks dude. You're much better than Gnats fans. And once Soriano gets back you should cruise to the NL Central title I don't think St. Louis or Milwaukee can compete.

11-4 after 8. Bradford gets us 5 outs on 1ER. I'll take it.

It was a blowout K.
Quirroz K'd on one that was even worse.
JJ coming in for the 9th...for some reason... I guess to prevent this from getting remotely interesting.

Huge victory. Gigantic series win. We had our hitting shoes on today, Cubs didn't stand a chance. Really pleased with Liz' composure. Time to sweep to Expos/Gnats. We should at the least win that series.

If the 3,4, and 5 starters keep pitching like @#$% then Soriano coming back won't change much. We need Z back more than Soriano.
But enough about bad baseball, keep pitching well and good things will happen. GL!

Like I said earlier. Huge to take 2 of 3 in the major's best team's house. Now, let's sweep the Nats so my 6-3 road trip will come to fruition.
