If you had to choose a person from ES to be POTUS, who would you choose and why?

EDIT: Lets actually make this an election, primaries and everything. Ideas welcome.

I'd second SHF. Although I think he would better off as my Veep.

I'd chose twa and then ***** about his war mongering, but other than that he would be a good choice.

So, how exactly is that different from most politicians who work three day work weeks, have affairs, go to sporting events, and celeb studded dinner parties all the time? I think John McCain who's had multiple affairs would make a great ES Poster... except that he's a Cardinals fan.

We can have a primary for both parties or multiple parties. Try to make it real. You can attack posters and etc. The republicans have two candidates vye for their party and same goes for democrat. It would work and we have a couple of months to do this. Maybe dispute a issue every week like SS, medicare, IRAQ and etc

Alright I'll try to lay out a basic format and get some feedback on it.

We have three parties; Republican, Democrat and Independent.

We hold three primaries (anyone is eligible to put themselves up for their party's nomination).

After the the primaries, we hold debates with questions submitted by members based on political issues relevant to current times.

After all this, we finally make a poll and find out the winner.

I think campaigning and stuff might be a neat idea, maybe something like signature endorsements for candidates. I'm all ears though, discuss.

Explain the underlined part of your post ?

No reason to cover half ever. However if in a relationship where YOU (male or female)required your wife/husband to not work, or afforded them a certain lifestyle, your payout/payments would be different than most.

Gov't certainly would not have to pay for it. Upstart companies will line up to do it for them at a lesser rate, think H&R Block.

Well, here is a role model for all you aspiring ES politicians:

Jim Gibbons Is America's Worst Governor (http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/06/30/americas-worst-governor-mr-family-values/)

By Ken Layne

Have you heard of Governor Jim Gibbons? Unless you live in Nevada, chances are you don't know about this insane doofus and his pathetic, philandering "personal" life -- which is nothing but a very public, very shameful series of alcoholic altercations and battles with his soon-to-be ex-wife Dawn.

The hilarious thing about Gibbons is that he has absolutely no "saving grace." He was never a talented politician like Bill Clinton, he has no legislative achievements, his silly speeches are plagiarized, and his smug stupidity is legendary in the Silver State.

The longtime do-nothing congressman won the Nevada governorship after one of the most dismal campaigns in American History, notable only for the story of his drunken rampage against a cocktail waitress in a Las Vegas parking garage weeks before the election. Dingbat Jim is in the news again, just when the political world needs a laugh.

Since his swearing in -- a corrupt and paranoid midnight affair held in his Reno living room -- Governor Gibbons has shown utter ignorance of Nevada governance. Whether it's education or energy, he doesn't understand his own administration's policies. He doesn't even know the people who run his administration, having infamously been unable to name his Turkish-born energy adviser, Hatice Gecol, because she was "Indian."

As a half-dozen major corruption scandals continue to haunt him and the FBI continues to investigate the kickbacks he received from Nevada businessmen, Gibbons has provided non-stop burlesque in the form of his second marriage, to former state legislator Dawn Gibbons.

Dawn now lives in the Governor's Mansion, in Carson City, and won't budge. Gibbons is back at his house in Reno. Their divorce proceedings became public last month, via lurid legal complaints by Dawn, while even more evidence of Drunken Jim's running around was found in hundreds of lewd text messages he sent to the mobile phone of one of his many special lady friends.

What can the governor with 20% approval ratings -- lower than George W. Bush! -- do for an encore? Be photographed in the parking lot of the Reno Rodeo canoodling with a woman who, twenty years ago, was naked in Playboy magazine, that's what!

The Nevada Appeal sent someone to the rodeo to take pictures of cowboys and their beloved cows. But in the parking lot, the photographer found a more interesting subject: Jim Gibbons humping on some gal who wasn't his wife, again.

Already despised by both parties in Nevada's legislature thanks to his awful handling of the state's budget nightmare, Gibbons' latest public idiocy could only be made worse by Gibbons' own mouth. This was his bizarre explanation for groping this latest lady in public:

Gibbons explained to reporters that he was just hugging his special lady friend and it certainly wasn't romantic, because if there's anything that "takes the romance out of a friendship, it's being there when her child is born. I held her hand when her child was born."

My candidacy is open.
I'm white, self employed, in reasonably good shape. I can be adventurous, and I can also be discreet.
I'm looking for a country that is there when I need them, that enjoys long walks on the beach, and thinks a quiet evening at home is a good time.

Sure, you could vote for Honorary Hog, but, really, do we want laundry all over the White House? You just know he'd be serving pizza rolls and Doritos at state dinners and he'd have to move his underwear off the couch in the drawing room for the Prime Minister to sit down.

You could vote for Skins Orlando, and Rush Limbaugh will be president.

You could vote for Burgold, but do we really need a multiple choice acceptance speech? State of the Union polls?

You could vote for Baculus, but is he a vampire? He's never said that he isn't, and I think it's very possible. If you want to vote for the bloodsucking undead, that's on you. I'm just sayin'..

You could vote for MSF.. and he'd likely throw you in jail. You know you deserve it.

Or you could vote for me.
And you'd have the coolest mother****ing president there ever was.
