it might not be over but our team has some serious problems, the offense cant scored or runs to short of routes and the defense cant get to the QB.Its a shame that with the talent this team has that the results end this way on a regular basis.

For what it's worth I like the job you are doing and stand behind you 100%. With that said you need to make a change at QB. Jason Campbell is a good guy but PLEASE I beg of you coach make a change to Collins or Brennan. This team needs a spark and that might just do it at the time you need it the most. I know it's not all Jason's fault but that is the one position that can swing things around the quickest. If it doesn't at least you tried and who cares if the offense is ranked 29th or 30th?
Thanks,
Dave

Hey Larry, love the show. My question: Why doesn't our O-line help JC up when he gets sacked. Repeatedly, the guy has to get up on his own after a sack and the geriatric o-line just lumbers to the sideline like they don't care. Hey, the line screwed up, why don't they have some respect and help the man up! How about doin' your job o-line!

Hey Larry. Never seen the show. I've never seen you. But if you could get any of these questions to Mr. Cerrato or Mr. Snyder, I'd sure appreciate it.
Question 1. How do you define success in the NFL? Is it a winning percentage? Is it players going to the Pro Bowl? Is it winning the division? Is it making the playoffs? Is it winning a playoff game? Or can you be successful by only winning a Super Bowl?
Question 2. Based on the definition above, would you say the Redskins have been successful during your tenure?
Question 3. There are two philosophies in drafting - you draft best player available (BPA) or you draft by need. Detroit and the Skins have both been drafting BPA for years. How many years must we have an unsuccessful season before we change our philosophy? 3, 5 , 7 or do we ever change it?
Question 4. If drafting BPA continues to be unsuccessful is our next move the same Detroit took? That is, move on with another GM?
Question 5. Please explain BPA to me in depth. How does one compare a 310 pound Center to a WR that's scored 15 touchdowns? How does one compare a 325 pound defensive tackle to a cornerback or safety? How do you know which player is "the best"? Is BPA based entirely on where your scouts expect them to go in the draft? We all know that a Center or DT is not the best athlete. Is there a "tackles made to points scored ratio"? Is there a "blocking proficiency vs yards gained ratio"? Do you ever factor need into your analysis at all? Or is it simply the numeric analysis done by someone like Scouts, Inc. and you just grab the top of the list that's left?
Question 6, Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing, over and over, and expecting different results. Based on the definition of success you gave above, at what point do we figure out that what the Redskins have been doing is not working? Will you agree that we should try something different if, using your definition of success, we are not successful for 3 years, 5 years, 7 years? Any number will do.
Let me know. Inquiring Redskin fans want to know.

Hey Larry, You have to get a mind of your own. I bet my life if we sign Cutler you will be for it. You will say
Jason was a great guy and we wish him success in the future but we needed some more firepower to our offense we were only averaging 12 pts a year and you just cant win in the nfl with those numbers. Bringing in Cutler is a huge gain.
If we keep Jason you will say. I believe in Jason Campbell. He is getting better every game he plays. I feel bringing Cutler here would have been a huge mistake.
Hey you would be a great politician. But seriously you probably are a nice guy and I think you are amazing at calling games. I listen to these types of shows to get real honest perspective and you just cant do that.
Take a note listen to the Junkies, Big O and Dukes, even the locker room. If Snyder is that much of a control freak that you are afraid to say how you feel than that is just sad.

Hey Larry, my question I have is pretty simple. If you could be the owner of the Redskins for 1 season what changes would you make? Did I stump you?

Larry, first off I love the show. My question is however for Vinny...... How does it feel when it seems as if 70% of Redskins Nation is always head hunting you? They always want you fired and talk about how terrible you are doing. Personally I feel as if you are doing a great job and I wouldn't want anybody else running the Skins. Keep up the great work Larry and Vinny and Hail to the Redskins.

What's up Larry? My question is... What is up with all of these WR's in camp? I mean Hackett, Washington, and the two rookies we actually spent picks on; not to mention the good core we had from last season including Mix. What do you think the reasoning is behind looking at all these wideouts?

Hey Larry, love your show. My questions are, What do you think about moving Jansen to center and let the RT position play out? and How is Randy Thomas doing?

Hey Larry, Redskins Nation has gotten alot better. Terl needs to come out of his shell more. I guess that will happen in time. Thank God the source meter is gone.
Anyways my question is this. On a scale of 1-10. How would you rate the character and team chemistry of the Redskins so far?

I don't know if you read this thread any more as the last post was months ago but I'll try anyways.
Larry, If Campbells has another bad outing against New England do you see the FO looking at aother options, either on the bench, a FA, or a trade to sure up the QB position.

Larry,
In a goal line situation, how could the team possibly benefit from watching Ladell Betts stumble and fall short once again? I mean, why not give it to a young back like Mason, or throw the ball to a young WR (like the fade route from Chase to Marko Mitchell we saw later)? Sorry but I'm just not sure what Coach Zorn was thinking there.

Larry, What is the latest word on how many linebackers, other than Orakpo and Wison, the Skins will be keeping?

Larry, While watching the Pats game, I didn't notice Jeremy Jarmon or Antonio Dixon so I assume that they played very little or not at all. Was there a reason for this? Both seemed to be playing well and since Dixon is in a fight for a job, I was hoping to see him get some time with the first team.
Love your show! It's great getting Redskins info all year.

Hey Larry,
I just wanted to say a few things. First can you say Happy belated birthday to CP. I know your birthday is tomorrow as well so Happy birthday to you.
I ususally listen to all the fans questions and never thought I'd really be writing in.Whether or not this makes it on air, could you pass the message along anyway? I'd forever be a Larry Micheal fan.
I wanted to speak on the comments by CP on 9/1. I have to admit I was not a Clinton Portis fan at all (at first). I thought he was overrated and self asborbed. I've never been happier to admit being wrong about someone. Watching the games I saw how good CP is and why the Redskins traded for him.Good move..lol I am one of the biggest CP fans around.
I'm glad that CP finally spoke a piece of his mind of John Riggins.
It's really sad that Riggins has taken repeated cheapshots at CP. I've yet to read about The Hogs trash talking The Dirtbags or Gary Clark and Art Monk having beef with Santana. As I understand it Riggins himself wasn't a boy poster boy for what not to do;). I commend Clinton for taking the high road for as long as he has. All I have to say is Run CP Run. Here's to a wonderful year for the Redskins organization and to #26 and breaking Riggins record. It may not always seem like it but you are apperciated CP.
Hail to the Redskins,
Tracy J
(and yes I am a Lady Redskins fan)

Hey Doc Walker...Of all the football analysists out there, I think you bring the very best commentary, analysis and insight there is to be had. Has anyone from the Skins organization ever asked you to join them vin a capacity such as coach, coordinator, etc?

Larry, what is the possibility of the Redskins trading down in the first round to grab an extra second round pick? Due to the glaring needs across the board (on offense), the new regime is in a rebuilding mode. Maybe we could entice a team like Seattle to trade us their 14th pick in the first round and their second round pick for our #4 pick. Since the OT class has decent depth this year in the draft, why not attempt this strategy? We could take C.J. Spiller at 14, and J. Best in the second round with one of our second round picks, then use the other second round pick on a OT. We could look for a free agent OT to add further depth. The rest of our draft would be freed up for other positions of need...maybe a later round QB. This would solidify our running attack for years to come and add depth to our O line and cost us less in gauranteed money (freeing up money for other free agent interests).
