View Full Version : Xbox 360: Madden Demo...

Demo is out! Interesting little "game" to start off, then the demo is the last drive of the Giants against the Pats in the Superbowl. Get the 1st down, it continues til you score, don't and it will restart. Very quick demo, but the game plays well and looks amazing.

I cant wait til August 12th! That's around my birthday too so I will get it for free(someone will get it for me);)

Oh to be 17 and have someone buy it for me!, I'm jealous!

I'll have time to play it from the 12th til November 12th, then my daughter is born and my game time will go drastically down.

i reserved my copy of madden when i bought ncaa. i cant wait till the 12th.

Has anyon played the ps3 demo yet? Last year the game was terrible for ps3 really jumpy and just not fun...I hope that it plays more smooth this year. NCAA was really improved I am just hoping that Madden is unreal this year. I will probably be disappointed.....

Yes I played it and it is better. They really stepped it up. I just traded in my 360 because Microsoft was ripping me off and I was pissed because I new Madden was garbage on the PS3 last year. But now I am so pleased with this demo and I hope that it gets better then that.

Madden 08 360 > Madden 08 PS3

Madden 09 360 = Madden 09 PS3

Yes I played it and it is better. They really stepped it up. I just traded in my 360 because Microsoft was ripping me off and I was pissed because I new Madden was garbage on the PS3 last year. But now I am so pleased with this demo and I hope that it gets better then that.

Madden 08 360 > Madden 08 PS3

Madden 09 360 = Madden 09 PS3

Sports games on all the "equal" machines (like Xbox360 and PS3) are the same. The only difference is graphics and usually Xbox has the best graphics.

And how was Microsoft ripping you off????

By the way, your game time will only go down as much as you allow it. My little niece who always use to come over (I havent seen her in a while:( ) use to try to annoy me, especially while I was playing Madden. I handled it by...uhhhh....discipline.....(she still loves her uncle though):cool:....she was like my shadow.

With Madden 08, I was throwing picks every other pass as I started out so we'll see.

i wasn't too impressed with the graphics and the game play, i dono just didn't seem that different or improved to me, unfortuantly with college i won't be able to buy it anyways...

I'm 45-47 right now, got started late with 2008 because I couldnt get a PS3. At one point, I was eight games up but then I lost ten in a row inexplicably and I've been 50/50 since. I'm not sure what was so different in the gameplay from 2007-08 but it was a while before I got my passing game to work again. I think I'll be alright if I can find something similar to the Gibbs playbook I've been running for years.

It's something about it...I think the WR's are extra dumb and the CB's are super smart. The only way to seem to get an advantage is to get WR's with 98-99 speed matched up on CB's with 89 speed or less. I tend to work with the "run-balanced" or "run-heavy" playbook. They have some good running plays that make the run game effective. Then when you get your run game established, it's easier to pass. Also I do a lot of fake hikes because DL's tend to jump early a lot. That has helped me get a bunch of crucial first downs.

I MADE THE PLAYOFFS WITH THE REDSKINS ON MADDEN's FRANCHISE MODE! I WAS 12-4!!
