I think this goes in ATN.
Either way...ESPN is reporting that source as well.
Who knows really. I guess it makes sense considering he will have the chance to face GB in week 4, and the rest of the division as well over the season.

Actually, the more interesting thing; who gets Jeff Garcia since he will be the odd man out in Tampa.

I don't get this trade....at all....I just dont see the Bucs being that much better...if he went to the Cardinals or Chiefs...then yeah I see a difference. At least the Cardinals he has someone to throw to and an average running game....with the Chiefs he has a solid overall team....

That doesn't seem like the right offense for Farve. Oh well, he's rich already so this is all just for fun for him anyway.

I was thinking the Ravens could have used him the most, but TB does make sense.

...the Ravens have no receivers and ??? on the line....I just would think at this stage in his career he would want to go somewhere with a shot at a title...it AINT happenin in Tampa...imo

Favre has excelled in the WC offense. Especially as his arm strength has dwindled a bit. I was thinking it was the perfect fit with Gruden.
Besides, Gruden loves vet QB's.
That said, he's in a relatively soft division. Atlanta will do nothing this year, and Carolina is one of those teams that could finish 4-12 or 12-4. Ditto NO.
I think Tampa is in good shape to win the division now. Is Galloway still there or did he retire?

Galloway is still on the roster.
it's him, Ike Hilliard, Michael Clayton
Graham & Cadillac in the backfield....

Galloway is still there....But If I'm in the TB front office and I already have Garcia..why give up picks/players to keep Farve for 1 maybe 2 years...
