My treatment is scaring me. help.

among other things, my doctor ordered me to have cranial therapy.
something about shifting plates around in my skull.
i didnt know my skull had plates ? :paranoid:
i thought it was one solid rock.
i thought only the back had plates.
what are they going to do to my skull ?
anyone have insight on this procedure ?
if i sound incoherent, it's because i took something for the pain.

I got a few plates in my melon there mick but they're titanium and screwed in. I don't imagine you're going to remember anymore than I did when it's over. You wake up and it's done. Course if it's not going to require anesthesia then you're going to be even better off. Took me about 6 months to really see the side effects of that stuff wear off. Apparently the longer your under the longer it takes to recover. I wish you good luck. And I of all people understand what it means when they start to screw around with your melon - unlike your other body parts - it's the very essence of you. That means something pretty profound I found out. If you need to talk I'm always available.

when you're a baby, your skull is made up of a bunch of different cranial bones. as you grow, those bones eventually grow into each other and fuse together.

sounds like some bogus, tree hugger stuff. Save your money. My ex was into that crap, I went with her one time when she was having the cranium stuff done, but they wouldn't let me into the room. Something about needing concentration. More like didn't want me to watch the scam.
