Oh, if your team scores 5 runs in an inning to get you the lead, you CANNOT immediately cough it up. You should be demoted or cut on the spot.

In between being busy with other stuff and the dawn of football season, I haven't checked in here. Maybe I should close my eyes again after seeing this inning.

Earlier in the year, we'd get that lead and hold it. Right now, we can't beat **** with our bullpen. Losing Matt Albers for the season + is costing us a LOT of games, sadly enough.

15 and 13 runs the last 2 games. We have a major problem. I just can't understand our pitching staff. We have some of the biggest jackasses for a staff. If I were the fielders, I'd give them the cold shoulder. They hit their asses off to get runs or get back into the game and our pitchers give it right back EVERY time. Oh, and Sarfate sucks as a starter. What is he, 0-5 with a 22.00 ERA as a starter?

I'm gonna have to agree with you on those two names. It's not like they're over the hill and past their prime, those guys are still in it. We have a lot of young guys with potential, but it's still potential at this point. We need to get some stars on this team

I wish the season would hurry up and end so they can do some reeling and dealing to get another power right hander. gid rid of cabrerra and sarfate. keep the left handers. look for a good free agent right hander. the bats are good but brian roberts most likely will be gone after the season so that could be a good package for a power pitcher. it's either a good first half and bad second half. Or a bad first half and a good second half. I am tired of this losing. come on birds.

That was a fun 8th to watch. Great to see this team has fight in it. In case some were wondering, Huff cleared waivers today, but Sherrill didn't and we pulled him back, so he is an Oriole for the rest of the season. We can trade Huff by August 31 if we choose to do so.
