The Jacksonville Jaguars, scrambling to bolster their decimated offensive line, signed ex-Redskin Todd Wade.

They already lost their top backup tackle Richard Collier to a shooting. In the game Sunday they lost both starting guards - Vince Manuwai and Maurice Williams - for the year.

They already lost their starting center Brad Meester, who may be back sometime in mid to late October.

Good for Wade. He was a serviceable backup for us and, with his injured ankle, got caught in a numbers game here at cut time.

Good luck Todd, he filled in well for us when we were in need last year so I hope he can help the Jags too.

Normally, I'm not in favor of letting a popular lineman go. However, the Jags need help and Jansen is no longer the answer for our needs on the OL. We could get a mid-round pick for him and use it for an OL in the 2009 draft.
