Someone may have spiked the kool-aid (leading to this seemingly drunken prediction) but I truly believe we win by 17+.

I'm going 34-17. We cause 4 turnovers.

Dunno the score though.

They're 2-0. OTOH San Fran and Miami were their opponents. Hopefully we're their first real test....

We keep positive momentum, our D stays good and our O keeps developing.

23 - 13 Skins win!

I like 26-20 Redskins. Still to many FGs because we won't put the big rookies in.

As long as a missed Neil Rackers field goal doesn't give us the win I'm happy....I was P****** myself last year at the end.

O yea, prediction? 42-17.

I know Miami sucks but...

Warner put up 361 passing yards and 3 touchdowns

Fitzgerald had 153 yards receiving

Boldin had 140 receiving and 3 touchdowns.

They worry me offensivley. I think we match up well to there defense. It will be a tough game for sure.

Cardinals 30, Redskins 10, Cardinals good offensive team with better than average D. Veteran players. Sorry, but if the Redskins beat the Cardinals I will believe in this teams chances a lot more to contend in the NFC East.

On that note, here's my prediction:

The only thing I can predict for sure is that we'll probably need around the same amount of points it took to beat the Saints. They have a big WR crops, which matches up well against us unfortunately. I agree with other posters, it should be a nail-biter.

I have tix to see the game - can't wait.

I see our offense working out its kinks against the Cards - i.e., we should see some big numbers for our boys. Our defense is getting stingier by the game, so I don't think Warner will have a big day.

Skins - 38
Cards - 10

I think our D will shut down their running game and make them one dimensional. Warner will make some plays but our blitz will get to him and he will give up at least one fumble plus an INT.

I'm actually going to be in Phoenix this Sunday - should be a fun place to watch the game if we do pull out the win :)

not sure yet. I do know this....

- the d front 7 are going to have to muster pass rush and run defense w/o much cb/safety help. in particular...if we can bottle up the run game w/o bringing the safeties up....we will have a chance of containing the wideouts

- warner, as we all know, is immobile. once the run game is shutdown......constant pressure by the front 4 will do the job.

This is a huge game for the skins, another NFC opponent and an important game to win at home before two tough divisional road games. Winning this game will not only give us a 2-1 record, but two NFC wins in a row that will be a very important stat towards the push for the playoffs.

I think it will be a not so close game because we will start to convert the long drives into touchdowns. Skins will have another good day rushing the ball, and will also stop the run. I look for 27-17.

I expect Zorn to get Kelly and Thomas into the action a little more each week, and open things up. Zorn's offense will end up being one that is able to pound the ball inside, run it down a teams throat, and also run a spread with very capable WR's. A very balanced attack that is hard to stop.

We will give up 250+ passing yards to Warner, but play to avoid the big completion and succeed in keeping them out of the end zone on a number of drives. Offense will keep the momentum, and the Skins will win 27-19.

The Cardinals are a one dimensional team. They may have two very good receivers, but we we have an above average secondary. We win this game handily 27-13.

Boldin and Fitz are VERY good, I don't think we can completely stifle those two.

We are going to need some major hits, Landry hitting their WRs, Taylor and Carter hitting Warner, etc.

Skins build confidence from this week, win 31-28

I agree with most posters that Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald are amazing weapons, but if you look at what they did yesterday you'll see that it was the BIG play that made up the majority of their yards. They both had a 75+ yard reception, so if Miami had not given up those two plays, both receivers would've been held under 80 yards. Boldin actually would've had only 61yds. Plus these two big plays accounted for 14 of their 31 points.

I think since moving LL to the deep safety position we have been good at denying the big pass play. I also believe that we'll put more pressure on Warner than Miami did, causing him to make some mistakes and turn the ball over. If we can do this and force Edge to beat us on the ground (which he can't) we will win this game. Especially if our offense can move the ball the way it did yesterday and come away with some TD's rather than FG's on our long drives. I truly believe this gets done and we win the game.

Prediction -- 28-17 Skins!!!!!!!!

KPOM! You are so right. We will be the first real test for the Cardinals and a win against them will be massive cause it will be against a conference team and ofcourse a win at home.

They shouldn't have been in the game with us last year. We were up 21-6 at the end of the third quarter. It was our overly conservative offensive playcalling that allowed them to get back in the game. We attempted 9 total passes (3 of which were on 3rd and long) in the ENTIRE second half, in Gibbs' attempt to run out the clock and hold on to the lead. This plan backfired because we couldn't get first downs on the ground, and it finally drained our defense which is when the Cards began to get back in it.

If we could've sustained drives on the ground, or if we were a little more aggresive and tried to put them away rather than hold on to the lead, this game would've been over much sooner. I don't believe that this mistake happens this year, if yesterday shows us anything it's that Zorn will not be conservative when he has the chance to put the game away. If our defense plays the way it did through 3 quarters last year and we can move the ball the way we did yesterday we will win this game without the stress of last year.
