10 games against winning teams, 6 games againt playoff teams! I have said it before, I would not be ashamed of an 8-8 season. Matter of fact, considering all the circumstances, I would consider it a success.

It puts into perspective the difficulty of being in the NFC East and getting to the playoffs.

Check out the bottom 4-5 teams. Wouldn't it be nice to have their schedule?

That's probably the lowest ranking we've had in years.

We're always in the top 10, if not the top 5.

It's interesting. Still somehow you can kind of feel the NFL changing. It's still early but it just seems like a lot of dominant teams from last year won't be nearly as dominant this year.

I hadn't realized that. Zorn certainly has his work cut out for him.

We won't know the true strength of this year's schedule until the season's over with.

True that.

I had the Jags going to the SB.

Unfortunately, our division remains as brutal as ever. We could well be this year's Eagles (i.e. -- go 8-8, and finish last in the division.)

Yeah. Ima go ahead and say it'll definitely be in the top 5 after the seasons over.

Not a chance. Lions suck. Bengals suck. Browns suck. Rams suck. Ravens suck. Seahawks suck. 49ers suck. and in my opinion the Cardinals will end up being mediocre again. We should win 9 games easy. Its all about the division games to win the division/ get into playoffs.

Seems like at the end of the year, we always look back and have had a brutal schedule, but the teams this year dont seem as bad.

But, 10-6 may not even be good enough for the playoffs this year. We still have to finish ahead of 1 team in our division.

thats the key. i don't care about our SOS as long as we finish 2nd or 3rd in our division we will be in the playoffs.

First 5 games = probably Top 5 hardest...

Remaining 11 games (minus divisional contests, and perhaps the Steelers game) = probably Top 5 easiest...

8-8 was what I was expecting before the season began. I'm with you on this. I would think to finish 8-8 w/ a new HC and everything else this team is dealing with that that would or should be considered a success.

I don't dispute that all...Matter of fact, the only reason why it might not be lower is cause we are in the NFC east..

Think about this for a minute...Going by what we have seen in just 2 weeks

Rams are awful=0-2
Seattle just lost at home to the niners=0-2
Bengals are bad and Ocho cinco shouldn't have changed his name apparently..he's playing like a different person(although hurt)=0-2
Lions are the lions=0-2

These 4 teams are on our schedule and a combined 0-8(even though we still have to beat them)

Ravens=rookie QB starting
Niners have benched Alex and going with O'sullivan(wait...that might be a good thing for them)
Browns are struggling on defense

Even though we are in a so-so rebuilding mode,we have every opportunity to take advantage of this and win 9 or 10 games this season imo!

Question is...can we hang with Dallas,Philly and Pittsburgh?

I just don't know that answer yet!
