Using the form that pez uses (imitation and flattery and all that), here is the information to get thing started.

Since I am down here getting things ready this week, please post what you are bringing to the tailgate in this thread. Every year, I supply most of the food and drink and supplies, just because y'all are flying in.

WHERE IS IT?

TEXAS STADIUM. INTERIOR OF THE BLUE LOT. BETWEEN GATE 8 & 9.

The spot is in the BLUE lot.....next to the interior fence.....by the big white tent called the CORRAL. Restrooms on each side of the CORRAL. Easy to find.

WHO CAN COME?

All SKINS fans are welcome. And, because it is here in Dallas, where I live, there will be some boys fans there also. They come every year, and we all get along and have a good time. Some good natured joking is in order, but we don't act out. As always, ROCK'S family will be there. The Hogettes will be there, Chief Zee will be there, and I believe the Portis family again, as they were last year.

WHAT CAN I DO?

I do not solicit contributions, but they are certainly welcome. IF YOU ARE BRINGING SOMETHING, PLEASE POST IN THIS THREAD. I can update the first post all week so we can have enough food and drink for all.

Oh...and I was thinking about bringing my #21 towel to the game...is that still cool to bring to games? Maybe a silly question, but I just wanted to check before I brought mine.

I don't know what time the bus is taking everyone to the stadium. Where can I get a parking pass? I really want to attend the tailgate. Coming up from Austin on Saturday night. If the Embassy is full, there is room at the Hampton Inn and the room rate for saturday night is only $75 and is only 2-3 blocks from the Embassy (Hampton Inn is a Hilton Family Hotel). Also, you can purchase a handicap parking pass (my mom had knee surgery so we have a badge) at the stadium for $35 (need to have ID as they have police checking tags with IDs). Don't take a cab to the game unless you are leaving early as the line for the cabs last year was over 2 hours long. There is also a HOOTERS restaurant about 3 miles away which has a free shuttle to the game and back, but there is also a wait to get back after the game. Post game tailgating is a must and hopefully we will see you all at the pre party on Saturday night. Never a hurry to get out of that crappy stadium.

But I have never done the Dallas game at Texas Stadium until now. I will be there and would love to meet up. I got to meet other ES members in Canton this year for the Hall of Fame and it was fantastic. So this should be good fun. I'm still trying to track down tix but I think it will fall into place just fine.

I am staying at the Renaissance which I think is fairly close to the stadium so hopefully can shuttle it over. I will have at least 2 others with me, one a Cowboys fan and one neutral. Let me know if there is anything we can bring. I will try to shoot my number through a PM! Go 'Skins!!!

You will pass the EMBASSY SUITES on the way to the stadium The Renaissance is about a mile from Embassy Suites.....farther away from the stadium About 15 mintues from the stadium.

I'm a transplant living in Grapevine and just found out about the website.
My cousin is flying in for the game and we will be at the tailgate. I'll be bringing Black Bean Salsa w/chips and my mom's famous cheese ball(recipe straight from DC).Also, a case of beer and a bottle, most likely burbon, and some mixers. I'm looking forward to hanging out with everyone.

WE WILL BE THERE!!!!!! My boyfriend Brian and I are flying out from florida tonight.... Its his 30th bday present from me !!! GO SKINS!!!

We will bring a couple cases of beer as long as there is somewhere to keep them cold.. let me know ... cant bring a cooler since we going to be taking a taxi from hyatt downtown :dallasuck

I remember reading that we are meeting at Humperdinks on saturday night (and they have a shuttle to the game on sunday) so I wanted to forward their web address which if you join their club (free) you can buy one- get one free dinner and other specials so log on before you head out.....
