Was watching the 2nd airing of post game live just now. Zorn was getting off the podium and Moss was getting on. Zorn yells out Santana real loud when Moss is getting on the podium and then Zorn goes how many catches did you have today, Moss then says 8 for 145 thanks to you coach, apprecaite ya, keep them coming.

I mean how awesome is that?? Zorn has a huge smile on his face talking to Moss and Moss is just smiling and laughing and just excited. I thought that was such a kick ass way for a coach and player to act towards each other. Just thought I would share after this amazing win!! HTTR :point2sky:dallasuck

just saw it and I made a comment in aontehr thread cause I couldn't find this one...

THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME ... so cool to see JZ be so laid back. I think he knows he can be on that level with Tana cause he gives it his all and is a pro.

Zorn has emotions. Gibbs always had his arms crossed regardless.

He is really something special. Commands respect but still keeps things fun. He is really a tremendous play caller also. If there were any fans still on the fence about him a win against Dallas, in Dallas, in the first meeting, against an undefeated Cowpie team.... I mean what more could anyone ask for?!? God this is sweet! I am feeling sooooo Zorny!

When the team is winning, the coach's mannerisms are charming.

When the team is losing, the coach's mannerisms are annoying.

In fairness to Joe, he would show emotion after a game and would be happy or whatever.

I'm loving me some Zorn to.

But, I wish that we could all celebrate Zorn's success without having to compare and tear down a legend each time in the process.

Thanks for the link so Skins fans on the West Coast could see it. I liked Zorn's play calling today. Seemed like the Cowboys defense could not guess pass or run on each play.

But it's way to hard not too. We would of lost this game easily if Gibbs was coaching. 2nd Half would been 3 and out every single down until we lost the lead. THANK GOD for Zorn. He's the man.

With Tom Brady you pretty much don't even have to skin the cat.

I loved the spot they showed on one of the highlights where Zorn credited all the players, coaches and trainers. Wow, now that's true humility and teamwork!

BTW did anyone else see the clip when they entered the locker room at the end and Dan Snyder looks like he's in tears screaming. "I told you, if we play physical we'd beat these guys." (paraphrasing), then he gives Zorn the biggest hug. I've never seen Synder so emotional.

that was great, i loved the hip hip hooray in the locker room too. Zorn is such a breath of fresh air for the team. After last years tragedy we have really come together as a team.

A hug a day keeps the Cowhers away. Keep those wins coming Zorn, this staff is on to something.

Anyone who doesn't realize that Zorn is succeeding with the team that Gibbs built is foolish...

However, the "go for the throat" style difference is exciting and it seems like we are witnessing the beginning of something special, which is great. I love Gibbs. I really do, but there were some frustrating weeks when we should have won but didn't because of things he was responsible for such as conservative play calling, clock management, etc.

I'm not saying there will be no rocky times ahead for Zorn and it's all sunny days from here on out. Fans know, and Zorn knows who built this team, but there's a different energy surrounding the Redskins these days, and it's fun to be a part of... Most of that has to do with Zorn and his style...

No disrespect to Gibbs, just praise for Zorn from me...

I am TOTALLY excited about Zorn, he is doing a FANTASTIC job so far. But I don't get this need to bash Gibbs. Do we remember the years after Gibbs I but before Gibbs II?

Joe comes and gets in the playoffs twice, the team starts winning against the big boys like Dallas (and IN Dallas). He assembled every member of this starting team on both sides of the ball except like Durant Brooks and Devin Thomas. Gibbs got Portis. Gibbs got Santana. Gibbs got Fletcher. Gibbs got Landry. Gibbs got Carlos. Gibbs got the linemen. Gibbs got CAMPBELL. Gibbs built the right attitude. Gibbs is a permanent fixture of the Skins Kingdom. An Icon. A terrific man. A terrific coach.

Taking absolutely NOTHING away from Zorn. I just don't get the Gibbs hate on this board. Zorn doesn't have to compete with Gibbs. Gibbs is one of us. He always will be as evidenced by those trophies that sat in front of Zorn at the presser when he accepted the job. Let's celebrate Zorn and point out that Wade Phillips got outcoached by Zorny by all means. But Gibbs? Why?

Bet the same thing happened in Pittsburgh when Cowher took over for Knoll, and then (to a lesser degree) Tomlin comes in for Cowher. It's pointless to compare coaches across eras... even Gibbs I to Gibbs II.

It really is a good feeling in Redskins Country. Not just for THIS win, but for winning. We have now taken down three undefeated teams in a row now, and have shown poise doing it. We have injuries, but we are overcoming them. Now if we could only get our rookie recievers going......

this is what we needed after all the problems we have had. a coach who listens to the players and tries to connect with them. he isnt above them like a coughlin, he isnt trying to be their buddy either. he IS the coach but he is also a man like them and I love how he talks to them. You could see him talking to Campbell after a bad series and he wasnt scowling at him, he was speaking to him and Campbell was speaking back. So good to see..

I saw it and really thought that's the way a coaches connection with their players should be. Moss was very excited about it and he seemed very appreciative of Zorn. Awesome.
