However, one thing I do know is that there are some on ES who tend to pass quick, personal judgment on people they have never met. Sometimes going as far as to resort to the somewhat juvenile practice of name calling. Most in the public spotlight recognize that one does tend to need thick skin for just those reasons. A shame really. As far as Chic goes, I think he does just fine.

I will take this opportunity to say that I enjoy listening to Chick Hernandez' Redskin coverage. Your professionalism following ST's death was fabulous. It was clear how upset you were by his death, yet you did a good job reporting on the "story." I've enjoyed your work many other times, but the ST "coverage" was particularly excellent. :applause:

I used to live next to James Brown's mother in Northeast, DC before she passed a few years ago. My family was real close to him and his fam. He is a really cool person and i love the job he does as a sports analyst.

I cant stand Bitchell bcuz I really think he has sum type of personal grudge or vendetta out on the entire Redskins' organization as a whole. I really dont understand it; havin spent so much of his career here.

And as for Chick Hernandez, he seems to do a decent job w/ Skins' coverage and everything. I really havent seen anything to make me question his "fanhood". But evn if he were a cowgrl fan, so what!! He gotta eat and feed his family jus like evrybdy else so if the Skins' are payin da bills then hey, it is what it is. Interesting. So you say. However,if that were true, I also find it somewhat disappointing. Letting comments like those made safely in the anonymity of an internet message board get under one's skin is a bit thin skinned to me. And this is coming from someone who once took a few folks to task in person for doing just that. Of course, I felt damned childish later on for doing that. Yeah, it does get personal at times and it's only human to be a little sensitive to some of those things. However, responding to it just let's people know it is and folks like that just aren't worth it.

We all know for a fact that "big names" are aware what is written here. Several of us are very close to REDSKIN players and very close to REDSKIN management. And we are aware they come on here and post. You didn't provide us with some :yikes: news.
