I wish there was a brawl.

I wish our guys had all celebrated on the star. Classy? Whatever.

This is the best rivalry in the NFL. There needs to be some bitterness and hate between the teams. Bring back the pure hatred.

I find it ironic that Tank Johnson of all people is trying to talk about class

I must say though, I'm glad Tank didn't pull a gun and shoot Rock.

Funny too, is in pictures somebody posted in the Stadium, there was a drawn picture, hanging on the stands, of B.O. standing on the star doing his little pose. Of course he was magically in a Crackboy uniform, instead of the 49er one he did it in.

So, God forbid, if Rock ever went to the Crackboys, he'd be hero.

Tank, can I get you some cheese with that whine?

Just because TO & Co. are morons, doesn't meant Rock has to stoop to their level. Celebrate on the field after big plays as a team, enjoy the win, but recognize that you're going to have to play that team at least one more time, maybe two times, and be a professional.

And...Rock Cartwright? I could see someone that made an impact in the game maybe, but not a 3rd string running back/KR.

I agree but I just think it was in a heat of a moment type thing. This is an emotional game sometimes you do let emotions get the best of you.

If I read the stories correctly, it was AFTER the game. There are hundreds of people milling around the field - both teams, coaches, media, stadium personnel. I'm surprised Tank even noticed Rock's brief celebration. And tough **** if he was offended by it.

And pointyfootball, I thought your were more savvy about the game than your post indicates. Rock Cartwright is a Redskins team leader and an important part of the team. Your slight of his contributions is ignorant.

I agree...to minimize Rock's importance to the team as nothing more than a 3rd string RB is kinda foolish.

Do not get me wrong!!!! I would say the same thing tough **** but I'm just saying though it was caught up in the moment type of thing. I say what's good for the goose you know the rest.

See, I thought I read somewhere he stood on the star and just looked up. That was it. Tank was the one who said that. That Rock after the game stood on the star and looked up. If thats all he did...wtf..Tank is just looking for something to get people fired up and talking about something other then their piss poor play on D

"WWHHHAAAHHHH! We lost the game and Rock stood on our star in our stadium."

What a bunch of freaking babies! Jessica Simpson seems to possess more mental toughness than some of the Dallas players.

Thanks for the compliment. I like RC a lot and in no way meant to diminish his worth to the team. In fact I like him so much (ick) that I was hoping the Skins FO would be foolish enough to dump him and keep Mason after the preseason so that the Eagles would pick him up (not that they would have). That being said, he's a STer, not CP or Fletcher or Campbell or Moss or Cooley who actively won that game for the Skins. Not slighting his contributions, just that he was not a prime reason the Skins won that game, and if the stars that did have much more input into the game are classy enough to show true leadership, he should have as well.

Hey, I hate the Cowboys too and the fact that gun-totin Tank is the guy whining about it is highly ironic and amusing. Guess I just thought RC was more professional than that and should have acted like the win was no big deal, b/c in the grand scheme of things it truly isn't. There's 12 more games to go, don't be like Dallas and think that early season winning has anything to do with what happens in December/january.

Wow. I guess you can change their name to Cryboys. First TO was crying and now Tank. Get over it Cryboy fans. Nobody insulted the "Star" like TO did, but now you kiss his ass and sport the jersey of that very same guy that you wanted to kill and he did it more then once.

People are right. You are a hypocritical, pathetic fanbase. You know what else is funny? Remember those years when both of our teams basically sucked and you were dominating us? Well, now the tide has turned and both teams are good teams, only now we own your ass when it counts......again.

Now back to your regular scheduled crying.

**** you Dallas and your fans.

Besides they lost the game I just think it's a bunch of sour grapes and in away this is a lame attempt to give the team motivation the next time they play us.

I wish there was a brawl.

But I'd be afraid the Pac-Man would "make it rain". And I'd be afraid that Tank would supply the team with assault weapons from his trunk.

If I remember correctly where they were on the field just happened to make it so when the game ended Rock was on the Star. Has nothing to do with him celebrating on the star. Thats just where he was.

there was another thread on here about this and someone, believe it was a Dallas fan, said they wouldn't do that to us, so we shouldn't. Well last night I decided to watch the 75th yr DVD, for like the millionth time..anyway, during the 1983 NFC Championship game, (which we won). Once scene shows a Dallas player, #96, on his knees in the middle of RFK, shooting his hand/fingers like he was shooting guns. Must have been a TD celebration or something since we won the game. But point it. It's football and we hate Dallas. So get over it.

I have that DVD too, but actually that was in the endzone (not the 50 yard line)after the dude scored...but the celebration is correct

It was Butch Johnson, #86. Basically a pain in the ass that did nothing on the field. Every once in a while he'd score a TD, then shoot his imaginary guns. Drew Pearson and Tony Hill were the best receivers on those teams in the 70's late 80's.

This is what was said that he did. He didn't dance on the star! Get you facts straight. Typical media looking for a story.
