Hey guys,

Need trade advice and hopefully someone can help me sooner than later. Quick summary of my league (not talking about QBs at all):

- 1 pt per 15 yards (rush/receive)
- 6 pts per TD
- 1/2 pt per reception
- 1 pt per 40 return yards (goes to specific player, not team)

Here is my team (you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE; ex. def and k for now)

- QBs: Warner, Campbell
- RBs: Portis, Bush, Dunn, Pittman
- WRs: Calvin Johnson, H.Ward, Harrison, Berrian
- TE: Cooley

I am currently number 1 in the league, but want to make an upgrade at the WR position (Ward is awesome but Calvin has been a dissapointment).

Here is the proposed trade:

- I trade Bush and CJ for Wayne and Brandon Jacobs

Yes I know he's a giant, but do you pull that trade? Keep in mind this league you get 1/2 a pt per reception, so that's why Bush is so valuable (he's the #1 player so far). CJ is amazing, but the Lions are just pathetic and I'm not sure if he's going to be a factor at all. Wayne is a top 5 WR and Jacobs is the ? mark for me. He looks beast so far, but not sure.

What do you guys think?

In that scoring system, I don't give up Reggie Bush. With PPR and return yardage points it's no wonder he is #1 in your league. The Colts are struggling right now so Reggie does not SIGNIFICANTLY help your WR core. So I look elsewhere for WR help if I am you...

The Giants are already limiting Jacobs carries b/c the consensus is, based on his running style, it' not a matter of if but when. You gotta think that's only going to get worse as the season goes along and the Giants are destroying people. You could end up making the playoffs, only to have Jacobs bail on you.

Look at Indy's next 5 games v. the pass vs. Detroit's next 5. While Detroit sucks, one of the things that every team does after a shake-up, is starting tossing the ball all over the yard. They have to try to build some excitement somehow.

If you're sitting at number, I'd rather try to package a 2-1 that gives me a significant improvemnt in whatever area I feel I'm lacking, rather than pull a basic push. The only thing you gain for sure is a bye week.

Is this a point per catch league??? If so don't let go of Bush..

EDIT: sorry just read the OP again, .5 point per reception is different, never heard of that. I wouldn't give up Bush then.
