Nah it wasn't. CP can't take all the carries, we need Rock more on special teams...So if you have an opportunity to sign a former league MVP to a 1 yr contract at the league minimum, then basically you are getting him at a dollar-store price. I'm sure Betts spot will be nice warm when he comes back healthy.

i love it. This team is one of the most well "structured" teams there is. There are smilin faces and people having fun. Not like the other 3 teams in the NFCEast. Dallas has just dropped a pile of :pooh: on T.O's front door.. and you know the world is gonna know about it. NYG has their problems with their WR... Plax. And well... Donovan McNabb has taken it upon him self a couple weeks ago to say forget football... and become an analyst, because he knows that his team was "the better team" (except on the scoreboard!)

I know one guy who is not happy with this signing and its Rock. I cant remember who it was a couple seasons ago that the Redskins signed when Portis went out for the season, but Rock made it clear he was pissed then. He later took back his words, but you know he isnt happy about not atleast getting a chance to run the ball.

Personally, I'm pretty happy about it, but you gotta wonder why a team like the Bengals would go for Benson instead of Alexander...but then again, I guess Benson fits the Bengals vision more so than Alexander with Benson's recent legal troubles.

Alexander looks exactly the same as he did when he was playing, coaches must have liked what they saw.. This will be a nice breather for Portis and hopefully help to keep him injury free all season..
