Since you guys last heard from me I was 0-3 and desperate for a Win. I made a trade giving up Steven Jackson. I'm now 2-4 (BARELY losing this past week) and just made another trade. Lemme know what you guys think.
I traded Darren Mcfadden/Roy Williams/Steve Breaston for Michael Turner/Marvin Harrison
MY TEAM 14 Team League
QB:Aaron Rodgers, Brodie Croyle, Brad Johnson
RB: Steve Slaton, Michael Turner, Melewde Moore, Marrice Morris, Brandon Jackson. Cedris Benson, Ray Rice
WR: Andre Johnson, Wes Welker, Marvin Harrison, Antonio Bryant
TE: Owen Daniels
K: Matt Practer
Def: Pittsburgh
I have one open roster spot

Pretty fair trade all around...of course, I'm assuming Boldin returns soon and Breaston becomes the 3rd option in Arizona, otherwise I might lean slightly to your opponent getting the better end of the deal...but pretty even deal.
I probably would have held on to Roy Williams a few more weeks just to see what happens with him. Although I don't expect it, if he explodes in Dallas you will be kicking yourself in the nuts for the rest of the season.
...but good work turning your season around....
If I were you I might look into dumping/trading a couple of those RB's for a serviceable backup QB or WR....

good trade but he is some advice, there is no reason to have 3 QB's on your roster. Rodgers is obviously your starter and he does have a BYE week coming up week 8 so you will need a fill in, drop those other QB's and pick up some potential positional players or backups of starters and then rap the waiver wire come week 8 for a replacement for Rodgers and then dump the replacement the next week..
good luck this week, i do like the trade you made..

until boldin comes back, you got the shorter end. but if boldin is back this week, breaston should be back to the 3rd option. unless you get return yardage, which keeps him at a #2. but turner for dmac, you clearly win that one. and roy for marvin is a push i think.

I like having 3 starting QB's in a 14 team league (although I'm guessing he probably had 2 normally and just picked up Brad Johnson to prevent opponents from nabbing him). The reason I like 3 though is there are so few QB's compared to RB/WR. As soon as injuries hit (Romo, Kitna, Palmer, Hasselback, Brady) or poor play (Tavaris Jackson...well, okay, if Jackson was your QQB you were in trouble anyway) causes a change at QB, you have an owner desperate for a QB. Factor in bye weeks and the pickings are slim on the waiver wire.
In my money league we now have guys who have to start Dan Orlovsky and Brody Croyle as their main QB's. If I can nab 3 decent QB's in my draft, I do it just because I know the chances are very, very good that one owner is going to be desperate as he sees his season on the brink of collapse. That's when you swoop in and make a steal...

Turner is having a great season, so good job getting him. Harrison is definitley not the WR he used to be but he had a nice game last week and still gets throws from Manning. McFadden is erratic, and Williams/Breaston are both a little better than Harrison. I call this trade even, with you slightly getting the better end.

thanks for the input guys. I actually had a HUGE week from my players this week. I started Melwede Moore as my #2 RB this week. I dropped Brodie Croyle and picked up Jeff Garcia. I also had a roster spot open so I picked up Donnie Avery.
