Looks like no one was bold enough to make picks/upsets for this week, so I guess I will. ;)
South Carolina over LSU
Michigan St. over Ohio St.
Ole Miss over Alabama
I hope I get at least one right. LOL
there is one underdog I think will cover for sure, but lose:
Vanderbilt (+16) @ Georgia - way too big a spread for this game, IMO. But still, go UGA!
I'll probably make some teaser wager or something in the morning, before games get underway.

The only outright upset i like this week is VT over BC. Why BC is favored, i have no idea.
Edit: Oh, and Mizzou over Texas.

PleaseBlitz, you should know that Mack Brown has never lost the week after playing Oklahoma. In fact, no Missouri team has won in Texas since 1886. It's not changing this week.

There won't be any brilliance coming out of your prediction. That's my predicion. Missouri isn't in Texas' class. Their defense won't be able to slow the Horns down. It won't be a close game.
Remember, last year Texas beat them at Missouri 52-20 with largely the same cast of players for both teams.

swing and miss on the OSU-MSU game. Ole Miss ALMOST pulled through. So close. Alabama survives by 4. Damn...
Vandy did cover though, at least. And my teaser is doing well so far.

ESPN is showing that 61% of the country picked Mizzou over Texas... the number #1 team in the nation. 61%!!!!

Buncha haters. Texas is in control of the game as I speak. It's not gonna be close.

I didn't post one this week because I didn't have the internet for a week. On week 7 I went 3-1. Another unlucky loss as Arizona St missed the spread by 1 point. Same thing happened in my only other loss.
7-2-1 for the season.

watch out though, OSU always gives Texas problems for some reason. And that was even when OSU was not a good team.

Honestly, I don't think it'll happen this year. Texas is on a roll. Mizzou was the only other team I was kind of worried about. Oklahoma state won't stand a chance. And even A&M, who has beaten the Horns two years in a row won't know what hit em. Tech may have some success on offense, but honestly, I doubt they have what it takes to win against the Horns. McCoy is on fire, their running game is catching on, and their defense is much better than it should be. I thought we'd be competing for the national title next year, but as it looks now, we could do back to back years if Colt stays. And I'm pretty sure Colt will stay for his senior year.
