Tampa is at 4-1 in conference, we are 4-2. We need to root for the Seahawks to pull an upset so that the Bucs fall to 4-2 in the conference.

I'm rooting for Seattle, but let's face it, they don't have much of a chance

Especially since we are rooting for the Bucs next week ;)

Hell, considering how many of their former players/coaches we have, I feel like we're part Seahawk now.

Coincidentally, I've been listening to grunge music more this season.

I'll root for the Bucs to **** up, but I don't think I can root for the Seahags.

My family is full of Bucs fans and I actually don't like the Seahawks. Plus I don't think the Bucs will keep it up and we will end up with a better record then them by season's end.

Too early in the season to think about scenarios like this. Especially if the Skins don't start playing better offensively than they have the last couple of weeks.

We are 5-2, and will play the Seahawks Nov. 23rd

With 7 weeks in the books, we are almost midway thru the season. It will be time to start paying attention to the playoffs race.

Right now, I think we are the 6th team. Which is a little funny since we could have a better record than the NFC North winner.

We need to get our pass offense to improve.

i hate both teams, but have TB's defense and need it to rack me up some FF points...So I hope both teams throw like 4 pick 6's.

Agreed. Offense needs some work before we worry about play-offs...

Not really. After next week, it will be midway thru our season. Each game's importance is magnified as we go thru the remaining of our season. Despite today's poor performance, we still are at 5-2. If we can beat the Lions, that's 6-2 overall and 5-2 in the conference. The Skins haven't been in this situation in a long time. We got the remaining division games at home.

The team needs to realize the importance of what's now at stake. It can slip away since our offense has problems. They need to work on that next 2 weeks and the bye week; so we can be in good shape for a playoff run.

What difference does it make to root for the Hawks this week and root for the Bucs next week against the cowgirls? I want the Hawks to win for obvious reasons but I could care less. When we win our division this year, it wouldn't matter. We should be back to the top of the division after we beat the Lions and the Giants losses to the Steelers.

I root for one football team, and one football team only. The One and Only, Washington Redskins.

Shouldnt political statements be in your signature, not as a post in the stadium?

Why do I have to look at your flippin' political spam on a football thread?

You know you can turn off signatures if they bother you so much. I do and it makes reading the board a lot better. A lot less clutter. I also turn off avatars.

^^ In case you hadn't noticed, his political spam picture is not part of his signature - its just inserted at the bottom of his post. I have signatures off by the way.

I know it is due mostly to injuries, but Seattle right now is perhaps the worst team in the NFC.

Only if Holmgren slaps them all upside the head during halftime.

The Seahawks this year have combined a whole boatload of injuries with ineffective play, to come up with a unique combination of... something. It reminds me of the line from the movie Waterboy, "oooh, we suck again!"

If that was a signature, we wouldn't be able to quote it.

This is why politics, whether it be an avatar or discussion, should not be allowed in the stadium...period.
We are fans of the same football team and when you bring politics in, it divides so why even have it when all it does is stir up unwanted emotions, unless that's your objective.

Seahawks are terrible... no chance.
