That's what I was thinking. I just don't see any "evidence" against her. I hope they can find more concrete evidence, but to me everything is circumstantial. If going to the bank and shopping for clothes is a crime, then we're all guilty.

When were the photos taken? If they were taken during the time that the daughter was missing, that could be a factor in the case, if not incriminating.

But it seems they came from a pretty wide time frame - she's even got different hair styles in some the pictures. And what do the photos of band posters have anything to do with the case? The whole set of different photos just seems kind of voyeuristic to me.

ok, again, I'm playing catch up w/this entire topic but my interest is tweaked and now I'm cornfused......

the date stamp on the party pictures is from (ORANGE COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE / May 27, 2008)

so that would make me wrong about my assumption of a 4th of July party. not too sure how the PO can have pictures of a party around the 4th of July of this year w/a time-stamp of May.

In a real trial, these pictures would be deemed "more prejudicial than probative."

In other words, they make you hate the defendant without providing much real insight into whether or not the defendant is actually guilty.
