I guess there aren't enough Vols fans on here, hence why there is no thread.
Either way, the Vols suck, bad. Losing to Wyoming is pretty hilarious.
Fulmer is gone anyways, I'm curious as to what peoples thoughts are on who the next coach will be.

there is a Vols hater! :D
But yeah, bubba is a Vol fan, but he never posts in here. Maybe you should recruit him. ;)

One of my best friends (who's at every ES tailgate with me) is a big Vols fan, but he's disgusted with this season. I haven't called him yet. Losing to other SEC teams is one thing, losing to Wyoming might have made him catatonic.

my parents drove down this week to Knoxville for the game, just got off the phone with my dad...let's just say he's distraught...Wasn't to happy with me bragging about the Noles winning...

Has Tenn been relevant since Peyton Manning?? Not to rag on your team, I have no problem with em, and it'd be nice to see them relevant in the SEC again

They played Auburn in 2004 for the SEC championship. I think it's been all downhill since then.

They also bested Georgia to win the SEC East last year, but lost to LSU in the title game, and had 3 other losses so I'm not sure it how great of a year it was by their own standards.

Probably, since they won a National Champinship after he left..

2004 in the SEC title game v. Auburn (Jason Campbells team)
2007 in the SEC Title Game v. LSU. Honestly that game was pretty close, though it's good that UT lost in the spirit of having LSU make the National Title game.
Gotta have the SEC keep a streak of winning national titles.
Aside from 2005 and this season, the Vols have still had winning seasons.
Honestly though, I've only been a Vols fan for 2 years. I was somewhat of an Auburn fan before, so they're my 2nd team still. I will always be more of a pro fan and a fan of the REdskins. I have become a big fan of them though. That being said, I hope they can find a decent coach to take over. A big primetime football school like this with the talent that is still on the roster cannot afford to have some Michigan type move occur that won't work.

If only the Vols team we saw the past two weeks showed up for more games this season, the outcome of the season would have been very different.
Kiffin better be as good of a recruiter as they say he is.
Fulmer went out on a great note, and a nice presser in the end. For being Thanksgiving and raining, I was surprised at how full the stadium was.
