It has to be the jthor's thread. That was an all-around epic thread in all sorts of epic proportions. :D

I couldn't stand the BS in the jthor thread. That was just some overly dramatic bull crap, created for attention.
Strawberry Milk and a Mop was Tailgate Gold. I almost missed it too.

You should have links to the threads... can't even distinguish all of these.

Mods...for the thread of the year stadium...are you guys cool with me posting it in stadium? or should we keep the EScars in the tailgate?

Well, I have to go with Coach Williams- simply because of the reply from Ghost of Nibbs McPimpin, which is probably the funniest single post I've ever read in ES History

I think he needs the mop cuz he always pours out some milk for Jesus.

I wish 81's Wall-E or "explain the NFCE standings" were up there.
Milk and a Mop
Speaking of which, has he left? He doesn't post much anymore. In fact, there are several people who used to post quite a bit that aren't around anymore.

81s NFCE standings was a stadium. I missed 81's Wall-E's thread. But I bet it was epic.

It was my favorite too.

None of the above. I'm going for the far out political threads like. Like this one (http://extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=264546) or the one where someone said if Obama was Christian he would hold a pres conference to tell people he wasn't the Messiah
I wish 81's "explain the NFCE standings" were up there.
That was pretty good one too.

Gotta go with the Strawberry Milk and Mop thread.
However, CRF's ex-wife thread did make for a fun afternoon.

Here's the link to the "Babe Draft (http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=245157)" thread, though the ensuing voting process spanned 20 or so threads, hundreds of hot pictures, and thousands of replies, just not all in one place. Something to keep in mind.
Oh, and here's the link to "Give me back my tailgate (http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=265894)."
I don't know that either of these deserves to win, but I think I should get special recognition for having two threads nominated.
I'm voting for Coach Williams. The JThor thread was funny at first, but I think it devolved and showed an ugly side of a few people. Regardless of how well Jthor rolled with the punches, it shouldn't be rewarded. Capt Rich's could have actually gotten him in trouble, and I won't vote for myself because I don't believe in that.
Coach Williams thread was funny and seemingly should have fallen off the first page within an hour, yet it grew life and spawned a long running joke that's still used today. That's my vote.

Cpt. Rich FTW. I was part of that thread and it was AMAZING while it was going on.
The best part was waiting for Rich to give us updates as all the shocked and amazed posts came in.

Jthor's thread by a landslide. Maybe the most entertaining Tailgate thread since I joined the site.

81 is probably my favorite poster.
As mentioned in the second thread - a Wall E sticker thread would have led to a complete meltdown.

Went for the strawberry milk and a mop, though Capt. Rich's secret cell phone call splashed all over ES like the OJ slow-speed-chase deserves consideration.

Milk and a mop by far for me.
The title of the thread was..."I Love my wife"...
Then it went on to how she brought home random stuff, and the jokes within, were damn funny.

I went with Capt Rich's thread, i was there for it as it happened. That was Epic.:notworthy

Some funny **** has resulted from that call. I keep telling her little snipets of stuff and I can see this amased clueless look on her face(how do you know that?) as if she thinks I have her phone tapped or something. I've had fun with that call ever since that day. She doesn't want any part of court. Her lawyer is begging to settle out of court. NOOOOOOOOO! I figure I'm going down just because I'm a man anyway, so it'll be a judge that does it, not her. My attitude about the whole thing has become more of a joke.

Corcaigh had the funniest post of all. I had a call coming in from 703 and didn't know where it was from.

When do the polls close?

December-12th-2008, 12:58 PM
I would vote "strawberry mop and milk" if the category was "all time most over-rated thread in ES history." I barely cracked a smile once or twice and the only mildly memorable post was Nibbs' and TB's at the end pleading for the lock.
I'd take the jthor and Capt Rich threads in the Jerry Springer category. :D
I'd nominate almost any one of 81'ArtMonks posts over the selected threads.

lets not forget about trumanb and ihatestalinism :)
I almost put TrumanB in there but I held off..:D
but the other oen is gold...he was actually several people here and while I won't go into detail, his issues behind the scene are now ES staff legend among those who know...:)
someday I plan to reveal a great deal about many things in a little ES book that I will let you guys know about before I am dissapeared...:D
