Short version: guy introduces 2 drug dealers to each other, HE gets life, while the dealers themselves get reduced sentences for testifying against HIM. The exact REVERSE of how it should work. And supporter of the WOD or not, does this not seem wrong?

Nine kilos is a TON of powder cocaine.

But I do think the actual dealers should get more time than this poor schlepp.

True. Even the staunchest supporter of the WOD has to think this is screwy.

I'm not for legalization of hard drugs, and I'm still trying to make up my mind about marijuana. So I wouldn't say I'm a "staunch supporter" (I know you weren't, BTW.) But I am an ex-LEO, and spent a lot of time trying to get drugs off the streets.

That being said, I absolutely do think there are a lot of people out there serving unduly harsh sentences for some of these drug crimes. And where that's the case, it needs to be corrected IMO.
