I love "easter eggs" like this one. I had NO idea and thought the alternate opening was a little on the cheesy side but now I totally get it.
If you dont know this part it is where Bruce is going to shoot himself but turns in to the Hulk and causes an avalanche.
What "easter eggs" do you know of that are cool like this one?

PLUS!! PLUS!!
theyre setting up for an Avengers movie so they are making a Captain America AND Thor movie to get ready. I think this is like how Tony Stark was in Hulk and SHIELD was all over Iron Man.
I am really hoping they start tying all of these characters and movies together because you could have some really cool fights and stories...

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, confirmed that the upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America will be a World War II period piece, like the comic book on which it is based, and he shot down a rumor that Matthew McConaughey was in line to play the hero.Feige, speaking to online journalists at Universal Studios on May 21, added that Captain America would help set up the eventual Avengers movie, which follows six weeks later. (Feige also confirmed what many fans have speculated: That the star-shaped object in Tony Stark’s workshop in Iron Man is indeed part of Cap’s famous shield.) You can see it in the photo below in the lower left hand corner

After the battle with Blonsky at the Campus Hulk and Betty end up in North Carolina’s Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Betty wakes up in a cave during a massive thunder and lightning storm that came out of no where. The Hulk is staring down at Betty curiously and she screams. Hulk jumps and hits his head on the ceiling of the cave, she then starts to calm him down. Suddenly, lightning strikes and Hulk starts screaming at it, every time lightning struck Hulk would just get pissed off and yell at it at the top of his lungs he got so aggravated that he eventually threw a rock into the sky at the lightning.
I remember watching that scene and wondering why Hulk was getting so pissed off. The scene also lasted a good amount of time. Enough time to make a point. The point being that the lighting was caused by Thor and Hulks behavior is his recognition of Thor. There is a 5 year span that we don’t really know about before the the movie began, and there could have been a Thor and Hulk confrontation during that time. We don’t know but it would make sense. Hulk and Thor do have a history.

A JLA movie would be great but youre right, DC just hasnt done anything to make it happen. You already have 2 of the 3 main in line and just need to tie them together.
Personally I was a HUGE fan of the 52 series. You remember that?

Who knows but as far as we know from Batmane Begins to TDK they did the same thing.....At Bruce Waynes Birthday Party he calls his guest "TWO FACEd" and then the imfamous Joker Card....Which may I add was set up very nicely in the begining of TDK it was a Joker Origin where Batman and Gordon spoke about him and thought taking the whole mob down was more important...that movie was so flawless the more I think about it the more I figure out....

I really do like how movies are not really sequals anymore...they are a continuing living story.....its aweseom how they all connect... I would not totally agree that DC is screwing stuff up... I think that Marvel has definately taken the more "comic booky" side to there movies... and DC has been going for total realism....It's cool becuse it gives fans the best of both worlds....

Feige also says that when the next crop of Marvel movies are announced, Doctor Strange will probably be among them. "I'd say in the next year, year and a half, as we start putting together our film slate for 2012 and 2013, I would not be shocked if we saw Dr. Strange on those lists. I love the idea of taping into the magical realm of the Marvel Universe.

Tim Blake Nelson revealed to MTV that he had signed for Hulk sequels, with every intention of taking the villainous center stage as The Leader. But like the rest of us, he has no idea whether or not they'll come to be, or whether or not Edward Norton will return. "It's all good, and I really do hope [the sequel] happens, for all sorts of reasons. But yeah, we did, we had a great time on Hulk together. I'm eager to do Hulk 2 if they make it ... I'm signed on to do Hulk 2 and 3 whether Edward's there or not, so it's not even up to me ... I certainly hope Edward is on the sequel - but that's up to Marvel and Edward."

COULD BE, Mike. Could be Thor. I wouldn't put much stock in it until there's a confirmation or we see the clash in the Thor movie. In fact, I'd call it a stretch until confirmed. I'm not being argumentative. I'm just not ready to buy that until I know more. It's a great thought though.

oh I get it, but the whole Avengers movie sets it up perfectly. and the fight between thor and hulk is a classic one and I personally would like to believe it. I geek out with this kind of stuff so it isnt too hard for me to believe it could be just that.

The rumor mill is that we can expect an Avengers movie around 2011 just after Captain America is released.
Any JLA movie is having a hard time gettng any traction because of the budget and Christopher Nolan really doesn't want Batman in it...and Warner Bros. is not going to upset the man who brough the franchise back from the dead.

Agreed...when they had the Justice League on Cartoon Network the only way they would do it is if they were assured that they would be allowed to have the big 3 (Superman, Btman & Wonder Woman)...otherwise they would've never done it.
Overall...I wouldn't be surprised if the Avengers Movie came out about the same time as the 3rd Batman.

He does have some great villains...the biggest thing that WB is trying to do now...give Nolan some breathing space and then throw a bank at him to get him to direct the 3rd one.
The sad part they had a good idea for the Penguin in the 1st draft of "The Dark Knight." It was a minor role and the idea was the mob bosses were getting ready for war to try and grab the power that Falcone had...and they were buying their weapons from a London Arms dealer called, "The Penguin"...and the Joker was pretty much as he is now...he just wanted to cause mayhem and chaos.

I personally liked Devito as The Penguin and loved how dark that movie was. Catwoman was "eeh" but whenever they showed The Penguin it was dark and brooding.

I know, but the thought of it all is just too good to pass up. I really want that to be true and I wish they would show a good fight between them. Thor will unfortunately kick Hulk's ass but I would love to see it go down.

The Eddie Murphy and Rachael Weisz rumors (Riddler/Catwoman) have been shot down, pure speculation, total fabrication. There can not be a cast if Nolan doesn't even have a story yet (which is what he is saying, but he could totally be pulling our legs). The Johnny Depp rumors had more substance, but still rumors. I think they're gonna pull another Heath Ledger/Aaron Eckhart with the casting for that movie too, bringing in someone who had NO connection with the movie and wasn't attached at any time. I am totally down with that.
Oh and I totally didn't comment on the thread topic.. haha. I haven't seen The Incredible Hulk, but I think I will very soon now. Its really cool how into the connections Marvel is, and how the directors are into it too. I'm really excited for the next slate of Marvel movies, probably more than the next slate of DC movies.

One of the coolest Batman villains that gets ignored is Dr. Hugo Strange.
Your typical mad psychiatrist/ scientist arch criminal, and he'd be an excellent twist on the usual Batman movie villain fare.

Yea I heard that too, I could so see that happening seeing as how he's already established in TDK (Mr. Reece) (get it... haha), even though he had a pretty weak character. I guess thats how Edward Nigma was before he became The Riddler anyways.

Oh yea totally would love to see that. I think that since they pulled off Ra's al Gul so well in the first one (and he's not really one of the more well known villians from Batman), they could pull off Dr. Hugo Strange too.

Heard a rumor that the thor movie would be alot like a LORD of th RINGS type of movie.
Yet they would have to bring real world into it somehow in order to tie it into the avengers.
Plus, if HULK were in it, they would have to come up with some way to control him. As a runaway hulk isn't really part of a team and would IMO take away from the film.

Well, it depends on the route they go.
The latest Hulk movie kind of throws things off kilter.
In the original Marvel stories, the Hulk was a charter member of the Avengers, and he left after 3 adventures because he's the Hulk, and he doesn't need any puny humans. The first year of the Avengers comics were largely spent with them chasing the Hulk. (So they could be friends, don'tcha know. It's the early 60s, after all.)
In the later incarnation of the Avengers (the Ultimates) Bruce Banner is called upon to try and replicate the Super Soldier Serum that created Captain America in World War II. The Avengers (Ultimates) are a military operation run by Nick Fury.
Bruce Banner, being the neurotic paranoid he always is, is worried that his lack of progress on the serum is going to cost him his job, so he tests it on himself, and unleashes the Hulk. After a nice rampage in which the new Avengers (Ultimates) defeat the Hulk, Banner is placed in isolation under heavy sedation while the government tries to cap the situation. With the PR nightmare of the failed Cap experiment and ballooning budgets there is concern that funding for the Ultimates will be pulled.
Banner manages to escape, and thinking it will help by giving the team a visible threat to fight, injects himself with the Hulk serum again and goes on a rampage in downtown Manhattan destroying everything and killing everyone in sight.
They look to be using the Ultimates scenario to produce these movies.. Samuel L. Jackson as Fury recruiting Iron Man shows that. So, I'd bet any involvement of the Hulk with the Avengers will be as a villain.
which will be ultimately COOL.
