Damn, I was looking forward to the continuance of his comedy act. Hopefully he'll take it to Vegas.

That's messed up. Poor guy didn't even get a fair trial. He probably didn't even do anything wrong.:(

edit: was just kidding, but forgot to get the punchline in...

I heard his bags are packed. I was going to ask if I could crash on your couch. But he needs it more.

I heard they are taking his hair and turning it in to a new style of helmet for the X-games competitors.

I heard that he's taking his time machine to 1975. There he will then start an adult film career.

What a complete and utter piece of garbage. I will miss seeing him on the news though. It was pure comedy gold.

The one part I was sad about was that he he did not get to call any witnesses. Not that I thought they could prove him innocent, but that I thought he might try and take down some of the other dirty politicians as well.

I think there were a number of dirty politicians who were nervous at that prospect. They wanted to get him out of the door as fast as they could to make sure none of their dirt came up in the process.

They only impeached his hair, and not the rest of him ?

So he returns to office if he agrees to a haircut ?

The brain actually lives in the hair. Without it, the body dies.

I think they tried to reach a deal with him where if he cut is hair they would let him stay, but he just couldn't deal with that.

On a serious note, I'm glad that turd is gone, though it was amusing to read the transcripts of some of those conversations and then hear him talk about how he hadn't done anything wrong.

Glad to finally be rid of him. The stuff that's been made public of him is only the tip of the iceberg. I work for the state. I see what has happened. You wanna be a warden? $2500 payoff will get you one. Director of an agency? It'll cost you $10k, but will pay you $120-130k/year. Nice investment.

You do not have to be qualified to hold these positions. The Warden of one particular prison had no work experience other than stock shelves at a carquest. He just happened to be a county chairman of the democrat party and he personally made heavy contributions to his campaign. He paid $2600 for his warden job. At that same facility the head of HR had been nothing but a homemaker all of her life. She and her husband were heavy contributors to his campaign. At another facility a band teacher from a high school got an asst warden's position by heavily funding his campaign. She resigned a few months later. Walked out crying real tears saying she couldn't handle the job.

The man witheld funding to a children's hospital because that hospital's administrator didn't donate $50k to his campaign. He gave a lawyer $6 million to help build a minor league baseball stadium for an expansion franchise that lawyer started. That lawyer has donated tens of thousands of dollars to his campaign.

He was allowed to call any witnesses he wanted except a small handful that couldn't because they are going to be witnesses for his criminal trial. He knew full well those people could not be called, but he used those names to make him sound like a damn victim.

Blagojevich is a ruthless, vile piece of **** that's just another part of the corrupt Chicago machine. No other gov has used and abused that position for personal gain to the extent that he had. We now have a new gov in Pat Quinn and Quinn has a long record of being for chopping out waste in gov money.

it looks bad.

Thank God for Samwise, if it were not for him Frodo would not have been able to destroy the ring. It was really nasty when Blago tried to bite it off his finger. He left the impeachment shouting, "Precious. My precious. You can't take away my preciouses."

Perfect thread title.

Cant wait for him to drift into oblivion.. sooner the better. He is all that is wrong with politics. Put him up there with the scumbags on wall street taking billions in bonuses while laying off employees and taking tax payer bailouts.

Adios.

Yeah sorry guys, I meant to come back to the thread and specify that I was in fact joking. I went to get dinner and forgot.

Although if you watch Fox News, that Rivera guy was talking up Blago pretty heavily the other day. WTF is that network up to, defending a corrupt Democrat?
