Yes, yes, I know. 40 times aren't a measuring stick for how well a player will perform in the NFL, but DAYUM. I can't remember a slower set of running backs and corners especially, coming out. Only two corners broke the 4.5 mark?!

Johnson, Ian 4.46
Sheets, Kory 4.47
Brown, Andre 4.49
Brown, Donald 4.51
Williams, Javarris 4.52
Goodson, Mike 4.54
Scott, Bernard 4.56
Coffee, Glen 4.58
Lucky, Marlon 4.59
Wells, Beanie 4.59

CB

Davis, Vontae 4.49

Thats strange because when the WRs were running there was talk that this could wind up being one of the faster groups the combine has seen in a while (and I mean overall not just the WRs).

Not everyone who is fast can play football, alot of the fast times come from track guys trying to play football! They fall off when they get in the league and you never hear from them again!

Aside from being useless, 40 times are wrong. Maybe they're finally becoming more accurate at the combine.

i was gonna say something but you only listed the CBs, not the DBs including safeties, cuz my boys chris clemmons had the fastest overall among the DBs at 4.41, .05 faster than the fasted CB. thats pretty sad when a safety is faster than all the corners.

Who names their kid LARDarius? You must really want your son to be made fun of.

this is bad news for us drafting at #13. I was hoping a late first round prospect would have run a 4.2 or shown some real skills in the drills and moved up into the top 10, leaving more players available at our key need positions.

I'd rather they be fast in pads and not in shorts. I hate the combine.

I think officially Jenkins ran a 4.55. He ranged from 4.52 to 4.58

Dude might be better off as a safety.

So who bought into that absolutely brilliant idea of trading Carlos Rogers for some picks to get his replacement and something else?/sarcasm
