View Full Version : Cowturd: He'll Be Talking About Jason In A Few Minutes (10:22 am / 4-28)

He'll be discussing what Jason had to say about something, presumably the trade-up for Sanchez.
Oh yeah, he mentioned that he's got an ex-wife. Jeez, can't imagine why someone would want to divorce this guy.

It was Hanrahan saying that Campbell was "stunned" when he heard about the Sanchez trade talks. He also said that when Campbell was asked whether his agent demanded a trade after learning of the Cutler trade talks, he responded "no comment." Then Cowturd added, "well, you can read between the lines on that one" or something to that effect.
Hanrahan also opined that the source of the fans' disappointment with Jason was the tanking that the 'Skins did during the second half of the season.
It was part of Cowturd's Around The Globe segment.

The more Cowherd has to say the word Redskins the more his soul dies a little. He hates us that much. I love when he talks skins. The more he talks, the more fear he's showing towards the best Skins team in years.

What will cowherd do when we make it to the NFC Championship or worse Super Bowl? :D

Why is Hanrahan always our insider? Why dont they talk to Doc Walker who actually knows whats going on and talks to the players. Or B Mitch. Hanrahan just reports what he reads in the paper. When did Jason Campbell ever say "No Comment". I never saw that till just now. From what I have heard Campbell has said he never asked for a trade. I havent seen the no comment line anywhere. I think Hanrahan just wanted to look cool for Cowherd.

And fan disapointment in Campbell? Are these the same fans who were behind Campbell on the draft day party and who booed when Zorn mentioned Sanchez?

Continual posts and threads about what this guy is saying is exactly what he wants.
He's probably had wet dreams about logging onto this place and saying threads about him.
Stop giving him the satisfaction.

Yeah, technically it was his agent, and only if they drafted Sanchez.
HUGE difference there. Huge difference.

This is a main reason why I love Extremeskins....any media coverage about the Redskins all highlighted in one place! If it's a thread I don't like, I don't follow it. I would never want someone to feel discouraged about posting something that was/will be in the media about the Redskins.

I bet Jason never or his agent never said he'd ask for a trade.
This whole thing is rediculous.
Look at how high and how long the "Campbell is shocked" up on the NFL front page. They are just trying their damnest to start something. And some of us are sucking it all up. Screw the media.
What we should be doing is starting a campaign to call all of these hosts up and blast them for trying to start **** on our team.

Ridiculous. The mainstream media doesn't make up stories out of whole cloth. They certainly are prone to exaggeration, and sometimes they hastily report unfounded rumors they come across though they quickly tend to retract the latter.
Obviously, blogs work differently or at least can.
This was reported by a variety of mainstream sources. I believe it happened that Campbell's agent made the statement to them.

I want to just echo the sentiments of a few others that I don't "hate" Cowherd. In fact, out of all of ESPN's national radio, he is far and away my favorite.
Is he polarizing? Yes. Is he wrong sometimes? Yes. Do I get angry most every time he brings up the Redskins? Yes. But is he stupid? No, and in fact, I think he has some solid opinions on many subjects that I agree with. Every time he talks Redskins, I listen with the hope that he has recognized some good steps we have made.
But to be honest, we are a pretty easy target some times, and the sooner you realize that, the sooner you'll be able to tune out some of the media negativity.

I know it gets said a lot, but if people hate this guy, don't listen and talk about him. That's the only way to make a difference. The guy is very polarizing, and because of it he gets ratings. Doesn't matter whether people love him or hate him, they tune in. That's why he's able to reference his big ratings a lot. People who don't care what he has to say, stop listening and talking about it.

Why do people care so much about what he says and I hate to break it to most of you he is right almost all the time. The skins are a dysfunctional group. that is obvious to everyone.
