when is hairston jr. due back?

i don't know but he has never impressed me much... i really like roberts in there or even mora when all our OF's are healthy.

They just stuck him on the 60-day DL so I wouldn't expect him to come back this season esp. if Roberts continues his solid play

What i read he is expected back in mid August. So about another month. But i like Roberts. Roberts can play SS too though. And they were talking about moving him to like CF or any OF position but with how well Matos is playing we really dont have room out there anymore.

They tried Roberts at SS in the minors and the coaches determined that he couldn't make all the throws consistently enough to put him at SS full time.
