I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything here but I've seen a couple of these and I came across one that was absolutely ridiculous IMO. If I'm not mistaken, the defining moment was Elijah Dukes getting a walk with the bases loaded. I mean is that really the best they could come up with?

For a team that has struggled like the Nats have...Yes thats a defining moment, I for a fact was excited as hell when I saw that happen in real time.
Also considering the fact that they have been a franchise since 2005...what do you expect. As you should know as an "Orioles" fan a true defining moment would be a playoff birth, in which neither will have for a while.

There are a bunch of them. Belliard walkoff, Zimmerman walkoff on opening night, Lannan pitching against Smoltz, and I bet there's a few more.
They film them at the park.

HAHA I know...I guess they have to put something out positive with all the negativity floating around with the Nats.
Sadly they could make any Nationals win this year a defining moment, it pains me to say:doh:
O Well...N-A-T-S NATS!!! NATS!!! NATS!!!

I don't mind those ads, they make me laugh.
I just did not realize how many virgin O's and Nats fans there are.

Someone should pitch their defining moment to MASN from Sept 08, when they clinched the first pick in the draft over the Mariners. ;) Not trolling...it may be a really big moment for the franchise.

Mine was the 2007 "Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" of Baltimores team. Ratbird fans have been crying in their Natty Bo's ever since.

I think they're doing another one of those open casting calls in a few weeks. Don't forget to wear that Unitas throwback that we all saw, Mooney. :D

Orioles Advertising/Commercials has been horrible and beyond cheesy for years. Looks like they are running the MASN advertising now telling by the corny commercials. Looks like the Nats are now forced to have the same crappy adv/comm.
And YES...the bases loaded walk was real bad. Who is in charge that saw that and thought..."That's a good one, let's use it"? That person should be fired IMO.

I love the Nats, but those commercials are awful. I cringe when they come on. Of course, MASN produces the commercials, and Angelos owns MASN, so it's just one more thing to dislike about him.

They run the same commercials for the Orioles as well, different people/players, same exact concept and lay out, they are cornnnny as hell, and why do they use actors and not real people? lol

I've got mine ready to go...
"Last game of the 2009 season. Nats on the verge of setting a new record for loses, currently with 119. Nats down by one with bases loaded and no outs. Who comes up? Adam Dunn. But on the 2nd pitch he lines one right to the 1st baseman who catches it on the bag, and guns it to second base. TRIPLE PLAY! The Nats become the greatest losers of ALL TIME!
(Hey - If your going to be bad, be the best ever at being bad)
:) :) :)

I've received emails about their open casting calls for those commercials and they want actual fans to pitch their defining moment for a commercial.
They're pretty damn corny though.
