Wizards have new President/GM

What we here in the DC area has known since last thursday is now official.

ESPN just reported that Ernie Grunfield has agreed to terms to be the new President/GM, just in time for free agency to begin.

This is actually excellent timing and a good sign to the rest of the league.

"we're not just saying that MJ was a bad GM...we're saying that its time to totally flush out that GM/Pres/Coach part of the team. This hasn't happened in god knows how long.

Now its time for Abe to take a far back seat and let Ernie and Eddie Jordan work for a few years.

I really think Abe had no choice but to make these kinds of moves after he let go of Jordan. But having said that I am pretty pleased that we got a coveted coach in the league (we beat out Philly to get him), a solid GM, and had a very fine draft.
